Art is intended to provoke an emotion from a total stranger. If youve succeeded in this, consider yourself an artist. Paper Shanks Blog. Love me or hate me, you are still talking about me
Your gallery is lovely, too. I especially like this one. I am planning on teaching that technique at my next stamp camp. I'll use your card as my sample!
Congrats!!!!!! I have my fingers crossed that I made it in to this one, but I haven't seen a copy in my mailbox yet. BUT YAY FOR YOU!!!!!! Can't wait to see your card!
Can you tell me which "sketch" this issue uses? I submitted a bunch of cards but don't remember which issue they were for. The sketch was kind of a half circle with a smaller square that contained the image. Is that the one in this issue? I'm still keeping my fingers crossed! ;-)
BTW, is this your first time being published? If so...isn't it a natural high? You feel like going up to complete strangers and shoving your magazine in their face and telling them it's YOUR card! LOL! Congrats!
A big congrats to you!! I submitted several for the fall issue, but have not received my copy - so I guess no such luck for me. I look forward to see your card in the mag. It's a great feeling to be published!!
Way to go!!
