Just a thought -- Running SCS costs $$, although I'm thrilled to see all the advertisers.

If you use the private message system, learn a ton, meet friends here, use buy/sell/trade, etc. it makes sense to join the fan club.

Then there's the perk of seeing the Fan Club gallery every month!!

The fan club is great... I was a lurker around here for a few months before I joined and now I don't know what I would do without seeing it every month...

I just got an email that it was time to renew my membership and without hesitation, i reupped!!! How could you not----a small sum to pay for an amazing website!!!!

Meeeees tooooooos! I love being able to see the DD gallery each month....so inspiring. And the new fan club forums?! Holy carps on toast! How helpful and convienient are those?!

Join. *uses hypnosis....spins a stamp in front of folks* You want to join the fan club.......there is no other way.

Next time....I'm using The Force. (for all those Star Wars geeks out there...)

I joined the fan club right after I joined SCS. It was just killing me that I couldn't see EVERYTHING! I've never, not even for a minute, been sorry I did! And now with the special challenges...I'm positively giddy! I get to be faux dirty anytime I want.

Glad to know they send an email...I joined "sometime" last fall and know renewal time was coming up, just not sure when. Now I won't have to guess (or worse yet, be denied access if my subscription expires!)

I totally agree. It took me a few months back in 2005 to join but boy, am I glad I did. And it is also nice to give back!

The amount you pay for the fan club pales in comparison to what you get for that small amount of money. It is well worth it! If you're on the fence, do yourself a favor and jump in - you will not regret the decision!!!
