Default The Journaling Fonts CD

I was wondering if anybody who might have this CD could tell me their thoughts on it. I see some cards made with it and had a few questions before I would think of buying it. How easy is it to use? Does it only print out in black or are you able to do other colors? I know that sounds like a dumb question but, just wondering. If you have it do you like it, and is it worth buying? My son is being confirmed this spring and I would like to make annoucements and thought that the CD might come in helpful..any thoughts are welcome. Thanks you all so much.

I purchased this CD last year, and I like the fact the the fonts match the SU stamps. Yes, you can print in other colors besides black, and it is very easy to install. Granted you can download other fonts for free online, but I am glad that I purchased it. For me it was worth the money...I especially love it to make customized quotes for the interior of my cards.

You might say that I am a fontaholic. I too use the journaling font from Stampin' Up! My handwriting isn't the greatest so I use it on my scrapbook pages, as well as messages inside of the cards I create. The different fonts are a lot of fun and when I am doing a workshop or stamp camp it allows me to use all of just Stampin' Up! products. If I am making a tag and want to use a font I just print out my font on regular paper and then use the removable adhesive to affix the tag to the paper in the exact spot, send it back through the printer and like magic you get it in the right spot on your tag the first time around.

A website that I have found that I love to peruse for new fonts that are free is www.dafont.com. Have fun!

Default font cd

What you need to realize is that this CD contains fonts...that's it. There's no program for creating sayings with it or changing the color it will print out with. Basically, when you install it, it puts the fonts in your Windows (or Mac) font cache. When you open up a word processing program, they will be in the list of fonts available to you.

That said, I do have it, since I prefer to journal with the computer and if I was going to journal for SU! samples, I wanted to use our fonts so that my customers would want to buy the CD from me.

Hi:
I also use the Font CD and JanTInk has described it right on.
After I installed the CD, I opened MS "Word" and the new fonts were in that program, along with all the other fonts. Just look for the new names of fonts in that list....such as Carefree, Casual, CSS Hand and those names that are new with the program. Then you can choose size, boldface, italic or any colour that is in your program.
I love it, I don't do memory pages, but use it for many cards.
C~

Default journaling fonts cd

I recently bought it and really like it. I use it in conjunction with my Print Shop program so it does everything that the program does, but know has the new fonts. I was growing tired of the regular fonts from my word program, so I like the updated SU ones. I also like the variety from kid-like to heritage.
