I love food network and was watching Rachel Ray thinking, there's something about her that reminds me of someone. Smack, I realized that Rachel Ray reminds me of Julie and visa versa. It's the look, the personality, the whole thing.
Julie should have a stamping show on TV!! Someone who knows someone in the TV industry, please take care of the details!! I can see Julie on QVC hawking something! Or on HGTV.

I must admit I had to google Rachel Ray. I had no idea who she is. Now I'm gonna have to see if I can catch one of her shows to see the resemblance. We just cancelled out Satellite, so maybe one of her shows can be watched online?
I agree with the Rachel Ray comparison too. Rachel used to demonstrate recipes in my supermarket up North in Clifton Park, NY before she became famous. Michelle, I believe R.R. is going to have a talk show on one of the networks this fall.

She is going to have a syndicated talk show starting next week. It is airing in the Cleveland, OH market on NBC at 3:00pm.
I think a Julie show would be awesome (I lurk at her blog too)!

Julie HRR might be a Rachel Ray/Martha Stewart combo....The bounce of Rachel, the wisdom of Martha. Rachel is a bit too perky. Martha is a bit too much always having the "good/right thing to do"....Julie HRR, seems to be a blend of the two. The blend involving the better parts of each....enthusiasm (without being too cute), and the wisdom (without being preachy....)???
Julie's Paper Trufflez site is already the 18th top stamping site! That just shows that there is a demand for her to share her talent. Prime Time Julie!
OMG, this would be fantastic!!!! I would love to come to a taping of this!!! SCS ladies (and gents) would keep the studio audience filled to the brim. And Julie would be so perfect, at least the Julie HRR I know in my little cyber imagination is!!!

My 2yo DS is totally in love with Rachel Ray, runs around the house going, RAY RAY RAY I think she needs some competition, and I am sure he would fall in love with you too Julie! But he would probably call you OOOLIE OOOLIE OOOLIE since his speech isn't so great.

This has been the funniest thread, all the Julie fans. I have personally always been bummed that she is too far away from me to learn at the feet of the master. So I would totally watch her show.

I knew she looked like someone I should know!!!!! Bang on with the Rachael Ray! My 2 1/2 year old DD calls Thirty Minute Meals, Happy Meals.......wonder why? If Julie had a stamping show Quinn (my DD) might call it Happy Stamper. How fun is that? Yum-oh (Get it?)

Well, I'll admit ya'all startled me! As undeservedly delightful as this thread is, I feel compelled to dispel a few myths floating around in cyber imagination . . .
I have a tendency to:
talk too much; some refer to me as "yappy"; I prefer the term "verbose"
say what I mean and mean what I say, by blurting it out, good or bad, and sometimes at very, um, in-opportune times . . . (This can be problematic, BTW . . . )
be overtaken with the sillies and a bit of humor that frequently escapes everyone else but me . . . chuckle!
lose my entertainment value considerably when unable to use smilies . . .
And, last, but certainly not least, appear considerably shorter, and chubbier, IRL than my avatar indicates. :shock:
But, hey, have your peeps at DIY/HGTV talk to my peeps! Oh, wait . . . I have no peeps . . . I am the peep.
. . . Say, am I gonna need an agent for this?
P.S. I actually do like Rachel Ray, but . . . I don't like to cook . . . mebbe she'd let me stamp on cookies?????
