I remember Julie HRR posting some type of "trick" she did so that you could mail a square card in a regular size envelope. For the life of me, I can't remember what she did. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Or have I simply lost my mind? LOL!

Awesome.......I have many envelopes that I saved when I worked for American Greetings....I am sure the girls wonder how come I always have such biggies for envies....I am going to fix them right up
That is one of the best things I've seen!! Thanks for solving my card problem. I was actually looking online last night for specialty envelopes and they can be so pricey!! We never write the names on the front of cards when we give them so that we can use them again for sending photos. I never thought about my homemade cards!
Thanks again!
I suggest putting the "hole" - like Julie makes - on the left side when looking at the front of the envelope because sometimes the post office puts bar code stickers on the bottom right side. You don't want your pretty design covered up by a sticker!

Reason: typo
I just did her trick for 130  wedding invitation reply cards that were fairly square shaped. Since I had to spend xtra $ on the invitation envie, I didn't want to spend extra on the reply card envie too. Worked like a charm! And since I had designed the invite with 3 flowers on it, the bride HAD to have 3 flowers punched out of the envie too (spaced along the edge). Looked great- but I made her punch out all the flowers!

Not only pure genius, but something pretty you could do for a regular size card, too (just put the adhesive on only one side so the card itself will still fit).
