Default just wanted to share this with the rest of you

I went to Barnes $ Noble and picked up a Pocket Naturalist.what this is is a acordian stlye phamlet on butterflys.it has all kinds of butterfly in this and moth as well as some catterpillars. Anyway it nice if you own a lot of stamp sets with butterflys because it can help you with your cards when you are trying to figure out what colors to use on the butterflys.

Here is a list of the butterflys that is listed and how many colors you can use this for to color in your own.I picked 1 up for myself to use for my cards and thought I would share this with everyone since so many of us have stamp sets with butterflys.it only cost 5.95 in case you would like one.

this is awesome and a must have if you have wonderful wings and any other butterfly sets .

swallow tails 8 colors
brushfoots 16 colors
milkweed butterfly 2
white and sulfurs 10
skippers 4
gossamer-winged 8
Satyrs & wood Nymphs 4
Miscellaneous 4
Moths 16
caterpillars 12

I checked out some books from the library for this purpose. But is sure would be nice if I had something to keep and could just pull out when I'm stamping. Thanks for the tip.

Thank you - I'll look next time - my old Golden Guide to Insects just isn't doing it for me!

thanks for the tip! I have a real tendency to color them whatever the mood and card strikes, it was be helpful to know what they are "supposed" to look like! (but then again, I am one who painted a bumblebee pink!)
