Can anyone tell me where to buy Laurel Burch cat stamps? I can't even find them on ebay. Somewhere I heard that she passed away but surely her stamps are out there somewhere.
I have been a Laurel Burch fan for years. I have totes, towels, mugs, postcards, etc. I have never seen a rubber stamp, ever, anywhere. But now you made me want some! She died about two years ago but her lovely cats will live on forever.

I googled "laurel burch rubber stamps" and found this link for one of her stamps. There are lots of other links to look at, too.
I found a Laurel Burch stamp that I'd be willing to sell if you let me know. I can give you details. It's a good thing to clean out one's stamp drawers once in awhile!
I absolutely love Laurel Burch and have a small collection of about 20 of her stamps. It took years to put them all together, as they are rare finds, but most of them came from e-bay. When one is listed, it usually goes for a pretty penny. I lost out once (before the economy changed) on a foam mounted set of very small Christmas cats that eventually sold $120. The only thing to note is that all of her stamps are really small images - usually less than 2 or 3 inches.
She did pass away in 2007 due to a rare congenital bone disease that caused frequent painful fractures her whole life - it is a wonder she was able to paint such beautiful things when she was in such pain holding a brush.
Another artist that has quite a few cat stamps which remind me somewhat of Laurel's is Paula Best - Her older stamps are also somewhat difficult to find and sell for high prices on the bay.
I also really enjoy Laurel's art. I signed up on her Facebook page and talked to her daughter Aarin about the stamps I had, and asked if they would be making any others. She said no, ... and they no longer make the ones that have been released. So ebay and other similar means is the only way to get them now. Such a pity, eh?
I feel your pain, queenbee. I too love Laurel Burch's cat images and would love some stamps, but when they do show up on eBay, they get expensive quickly. It's similar to the elusive Kliban cat stamps. . . sigh.
