License Plate Acronyms
Looking for some creative scs to come up with ideas for messages that are license plate sized.
I made a very plain card and for the recipient it had a lot of meaning.
I didn't have time to get elaborate- just enough time to use my well worn alpha set.
License Plate? by Doris B at Splitcoaststampers
Where I posted my pic - Karen suggested using a play on words to put on the plates so it can't have too many letters - but ones that would be obvious to everyone.
here's her idea as an example is URG8-DAD
I've seen lots over the years but can only think of two right now
ICU
4U2P (but that was on an outhouse)
Ideas Anyone?

Your welcome! Happy to help...I tried a couple of other sites but there just was not much info...this one seemed a bit more risque but full of good stuff too.

One of the nurses at the hospital I worked at had a license plate that read
qhs-prn (every bedtime- as needed)
It always made me smile.

Tina~ As a former forensics competitor, I *love* the db8n4n6 one. My strings teacher had oen that simply said MUSIC.
I saw one the other day that made me laugh--had to be a mom's car: NOT UPS.
GENUIS -- this one seen a few years back was misspelled intentionally, but would spell it correctly (GENIUS) for a card.
A few others that come to mind:
2fine4U
dont ask
gr8ful
gr8est

I actually went to high school with a guy that had this license plate
BULGE
He had it for over a year and got pulled over one time from a highway patrolman and it was confiscated on the spot!

NO H8N (no hating)
SPLDBRT (spoiled brat - at least I think that's what it meant!)
I8ABUG (I ate a bug - this one was on a VW Touareg)

When my son-in-law was in residency for family practice he had HUH ME, it was the first he could be officially called Dr. and he wasn't used to it. Plus he is very humble & does not want to be introduced to anyone as Dr. unless it is a professional situation. He prefers us to introduce him as our SIL & just by his name.
