Default Liquid Applique

I am looking for Liquid Applique. I remember reading that someone bought it at Michaels. I called Michaels this morning and the woman told me they don't sell it??? If anyone knows for sure where they keep it at Michaels I would appreciate the info!

Default lWhere

It could be in the Embroidery Department. That's where they keep it at AC Moores, where I live. Also try Ben Franklins. Stamp craft stores also have it.

Where do you live?

Shirley

I ordered some from SU for my Christmas cards. I doubt it will be in anytime soon.

I live in Illinois. I don't think we have any Ben Franklins around us anymore, we used to when I was little. I need to find this for a customer who ordered a long time ago. I called SU and the woman told me they had about 8600 orders for the liquid applique!!!! I don't think I will be getting it anytime soon.

Default Locating the Applique

Try going to the Ben Franklin site and use the loacater by zip code. Also check you yellow pages for Craft stores and call them. You might luck out.

HTH,

Shirley

I don't think Michael's sells it anymore. A couple of months back someone on here said they bought it for $1 on clearance. They were probably trying to get rid of it.

Can you believe that it has been in the IBC for how long??!!! and now that it's in the mini it's selling like crazy. SU should do that with all of the products that don't sell well...once you tell people how to use something and show them ideas people will buy! Just look at this site...I have bought many sets that I never thought twice about until someone on here did something amazing with it!

And as a side note, wild-ideas is an awesome website, don't look if you are not in the market for something unless you have good self control...also sign up for their red tag sales email...and say that I sent you there if that is still an option because I think that is the place that gives an incentive... my email is [email protected]

Thanks for the ideas, I called Joann Fabrics and the woman said they did not carry the item, but I had a feeling she didn't look so I took a ride to check myself. They had 5 instock so I bought them all. It was definitely worth the ride! Thanks again for the help!

I think I'm in trouble now Keri...I'll probably be there for a while now! It's all your fault. If I find a place I'll give them your name for passing the site on.

I'm not sure where I found wilde-ideas, but I certainly have become a regular customer! Keri, you are right. Need more self-control.

I found some at Michael's about a month or two ago - it was in the stamping/scrapbooking area - I don't remember exactly which aisle, but it might have been where they have the embossing powders and heat tools and stuff. It was the same price as what's been selling in the SU mini.

If you can't find the liquid applique, go to the fabric paint section and look for puff paint. It's a bigger bottle and a smaller price. Other than that, it's the same thing!
