Default Looking for a certain type of embellishment ...

A long, long time ago, I have a package of embelishments that were hangers. They were probably 1" long by 1/2" high. I used them up in scrapbooks a while back. I've recently got some stamps that I will need these for again. I've looked in Oriental Trading, Mike's and Jo's. I've not had a chance to visit my scrapbook store (hoping to get there next week). If any of you have seen these, let me know where. I would truly appreciate it!!!

Hmmm I just saw these used on a card last week. I'll see if I can find it around here somewhere.

I saw some hanger brads last week at www.eyeletoutlet.com

I've never ordered, just went there after seeing something here at SCS.

I've been looking for these little hangers for over a year and haven't found them yet. :( The type I'm trying to replace is silver in color and only about 1 1/4" wide. I used to purchase them at a craft store in the section set aside for miniatures - for those of you new to crafting, miniatures were very popular in the '80's and early '90's. Since miniatures are no longer popular in stores, I searched hobby shops thinking they would have them, but they are too big to be considered miniature-to-scale for doll houses.

I've tried making these with wire and even with my wire-wrapping thingee (board that has moveable pegs that you wrap wire around), the hangers are pathetic looking. So anyone who has a source for these tiny hangers, please let me know.

Here is where I've purchased wire hangers:

http://www.skybluepink.com/products3.html

If my link doesn't work - the product is found at www.skybluepink.com and it's listed under products/odds and ends - almost at the bottom of the page.
They have 3 color choices black/gold/silver and lots of other very cool things at very good prices.

Hope,

I'm pretty sure they have these at Stamp Fanci in the room farthest in the back.
