Question Looking for chocolate boxes

My fiance and I are planning on giving a couple of chocolates to each of our guests at our wedding. I had hoped on using all Stampin' Up! products, but they no longer carry die-cut boxes that would suit this purpose.

Does anyone have a vendor that is reasonable for this sort of thing? I've done a search, but I've come up with very little in the way of favour boxes. I'd like to buy just plain boxes that I can stamp and assemble. Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks!

Our Dollar Tree carries a small white, handled box that is very nice. It's with the stationery items (near cards, giftwrap). There are 12 in the box, so you can't beat the price. They take ink well and I've used the jumbo wheels with great results.

They are probably a bit large for just a couple of pieces of chocolate, but if you add some shred to the bottom, they'll be perfect!

Here's a version by cookiestamper: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

If you are interested and can't find them, LMK. My Dollar Tree had plenty!

You can also check in the cake decorating departments of craft stores or the Wilton site www.wilton.com for boxes

Oriental trading might also have some www.orientaltrading.com

Congratulations!

The two die cut box places I've purchased from before are:

http://www.creativecutsandmore.com
This gal is a stamper and carries the entire SU paper line and Bazzil paper line.

http://www.bayleysboxes.com
This gal has boxes that come in fancy printed cardstock.

Both provided excellent service.

Try ebay - you can get mega quantities of this type of thing for cheap. I got 200 take out boxes for something like $20 a couple of years ago.

My husband just did truffles for Christmas - the boxes he bought (the wilton ones) were about $3 for a package of 3 at Michael's.

I bought my boxes for the same purpose (chocolates for my wedding favors) at www.uline.com. I buy all my cellophane bags and any kind of box there. They have fantastic customer service and unbelievable prices. I've been buying stuff from them for 10 years. Good luck!

Hmmmm...I know my Michaels used to sell these but have not looked lately. They were in a package of 50, came in white, silver or gold and were in the wedding type section. I had bought them before and I think they were like 10.00 but we obviously always used the coupons

Thanks for all of the help ladies - unfortunately, I'm in Canada, so no luck with the Dollar Tree idea. I checked out Michael's, but I didn't see any plain ones. Perhaps I'll have to take another look.

I did a search for truffle boxes instead and had a little more luck. I stumbled across one that has double truffle boxes (which seems to be what I'll need) , and they are 18 cents a piece when you buy a case of 200. Depending on the shipping costs, I might just go with them - it will be expensive enough to get the chocolates!

Thanks again!

Paper Mart has a cute selection of favor boxes you might want to see. Click HERE for the link. I have ordered from them before and have had prompt and accurate delivery.

Just an idea but what if you checked your LSS for a die that cuts small square boxes such as 2 inches square? Many LSS let you use their machines.
