Looking for Craft Room Ideas?
Does anyone have any craft room pics to share? I'm fairly new to stamping -- about one year -- but new to SCS. Please share any ideas/pics.

Totally off topic... but what is the au on your name from?
My name is Krista too. Several Krista's here. It confuses me. *LOL* Welcome to the site!

Here are two photos of my craft room---it is really long 22' x 7.5' wide. Tough spot to do anything with, but i have crammed it quite nicely, LOL.
Here is the
room and here is my
paper storage racks
Good luck with yours and make sure to post pix when you are done!

Well -- the AU stands for Auburn University -- that's where I went to school. I live in MI now, so I like to use it whenever I can
Question? I keep seeing the same paper storage shelves -- are they yaffa blocks?
Any ideas for ink storage? I don't want to pay a ton of $$ for the SU one, but need something....any ideas????

Very cool! I'm going to Auburn University now for my masters.
For ink storage. I used an old wooden cassette tape holder for mine and hung it on the wall. It works great for me!

Not sure what Yaffa blocks are---but mine are those metal cube shelving things(i think they cost about $15) I bought two sets and used the extra set as shelves that i zip tied on at the spacing I wanted. Works really good for me---i separate my paper by color family, not SU family, like all blues on one shelf.... Hope that helps.

On the following blog, there is a section on the right margin that lists a number of links to "Studios that inspire her". Alot of these studios are owned by ladies who make a living in the industry and thus they can justify the significant expenditure required to have rooms that look like this!

In addition here are two links to Nichole Heady's stamp rooms. The first link show her first room (which I think is very doable for someone starting out). The second show her recently renovated room which is on a grander scale. Both are great.

Have fun planning your room!
