Other than the SU sets, who makes good horse stamps?
My sister is an equine veterinarian and has requested handmade sympathy cards to send to the owners of her less fortunate patients. Several of my coworkers ride competitively as well, so they're always looking for horse-themed cards. I have Equestrian Dreams and am putting Wanted on my next SU order, but I have not had any luck finding any other good images.
You might want to try XR Ranchg Rubber Stamps, 581 Hwy. 85S, Grassy Butte, ND 58634.
My son is a team roper, and I've gotten stamps from them and am impressed!
If you go to stampfrancisco.com enter the word horses in the search field, it will display 91 stamps. If you are on high speed connection, change the default setting of 20 items per page to a higher number so that you do not need to go from page to page. Some of those stamps are not what you are looking for but those that are will also be. Good luck in your search. Catherine
Though I have made more than 3 posts on SCS... the system does not allow me to post a direct link !!! sorry
SUs Bareback set is a very nice horse set. My friend just got it and I made a few scrapbook pages for her with it. Has a nice sentiment too. Its in the current catty.
You guys have unearthed far more wonderful horse stamps than I ever did. I never would have thought to check out Biblical Impressions, which has some of the best whimsical horse stamps I've seen yet. Thank you to everyone!
I'm a scrapbooker, and totally brand new at cardmaking; I have just posted my only 6 cards to date in my gallery--one is of 4 grazing horses by Inkadinkado which I just got at AC Moore.

I have a few horse stamps from Stampabilities; this is one of the ones I really like; I think it would be appropriate for sympathy cards (backgrounds, borders maybe?):
