I have a Xyron 900, which I love for doing sticky stuff. But every time I try to laminate, the laminate gets creased and I end up with a huge mess. Is there anyone out there who knows a solution? I've tried reeling out a "leader", and gently pulling while I put in my page......still end up with creases. This is frustrating!! HELP!
Is it possible the cartridge is defective? Has this happened with other laminating cartridges? I'd be happy to help but this has never happened to me. I do know that the Xyron folks are very helpful. I remember having a whole case of defective 500 cartridges and they didn't bat an eyelash, just replaced the case lickety split!
Here's their contact page from their website, www.xyron.com :
My first roll of laminate was horrible. I ruined a picture that I had only one copy of..DUH! I learned my lesson well. Make several copies first...any way I returned the roll to the place of purchase. My new roll has been fantastic.
Good luck.
Sue
OH, duh! It never occured to me that it could be the cartridge - I assumed I was doing something wrong. But, you can't really do anything wrong when it comes to the xyron! I don't have my receipt any more, plus I bought several months ago, so I don't know if Michaels would take it back. I'll call them and ask. Thanks!!
