I was at my Stamp Camp tonight, and my demo showed us the new colors. Oooh, so pretty. I really love them, but will miss Bliss Blue, but the new ones . . . . they are very pretty.
Edit: I just wanted to also say that we just started a Marker Club with 4 of us in the camp and 4 more others are going to do it also. We decided not to wait for the new colors, but to go ahead and get started now. I just ordered a package of Mauve Mist with the pad and reinker before I knew about the change. I don't mind that. I'm sure that I'll use it. I'm not a demo so I don't have that challenge, but there are opportunities to use the colors - swaps that are NVR, etc.

Being that I'm so new here...I like when stuff like this is told. I had Rose Romance on my list of must haves next and if it's going away...I'd be more mad not knowing, ordering it, and then finding out it was going away. I kind of liked being "in the know" on it.
Now...if just someone could leak what sets are going to be retired...I'd be in heaven!!! I need to know because I still have lots of sets marked for my wish list.
Wow!!! I was just thinking you and Emily looked alike. I had no idea you were sisters. Maybe that's why I have each of you posted in My Favorites. Keep up the great work!

I don't think you have anything to be sorry for! I can't believe that anyone would think that it was done with malicious intent! Was "Skunky" created with ill intent?
I'm personally fed up with all this "demo VS customer" jazz! I find it very alienating, and it certainly makes me more appreciative of my sweet demo.
News like this can only increase excitement AND sales, regardless of how people find out about it! I know that I would not be so into SU! if it weren't for the information, ideas, and techniques that are shared on this site.
So, thanks so much for sharing! It was appreciated by many!

Isn't this site about stamping and friends. Who cares how you found out. I got an email from my demo about the new colors and I came here asap to read more. I was thrilled and if you guys did not do it then someone else would have. I loved reading everyones responses and also answering my questions, like what to do with my stampin caddy I just bought, I guess buy more and fill it up. I too agree with the comment posted that I am a very good customer and I feel I need the inside knowlede you girls have. Thanks and you are more than welcome to spread more info when you recieve it!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually MamaK, It made me want to call to order more. I have some of the colors that are changing and want to get reinkers so I can refresh the pad. I look at it as an opportunity to have MORE colors. LOL

Sure wish I had that kind of imagination!! and I thank you for sharing the news. Saves me so much money and grief over the items I would have ordered. I keep reading about something causing drama. It was the color thing? I have been reading other posts and MamaK and Emily I agree. You two are sweeties and hiliarious! O.k. "Come Home Soon" just came on the radio. I have to go cry now because I want my honey to come home.

No doubt I missed some posting of new colors coming out in the new catalog right? Darn I miss everything. Can I see it too or is it being banned and are we all going to bed without supper?
