Default Lovely as a Tree

I see some gorgeous cards in the gallery using this set. It appears to me though that most of the cards made with this set are not "simple" cards to make. As a beginner stamper, am I better off staying away from this set until I get more experience with different techniques, or should I jump right in and purchase it?

It was one of the first sets I got. When I saw the set I was reminded of the song "Sheltering Tree" and HAD to have it. I made cards right away for my friends who have been my "sheltering tree". Then it is awesome for masculine cards and for autumn. OH I could go on. I really like this set. Can you tell? Ha!

I think you should get it now. It is a great set to begin with and it might be just what you need to start learning new techniques.

IT's a great starter set as, by its very nature, you can use it all year round! You don't even have to colour it - just stamp it in green for spring/summer, brown for autumn and blue for winter. I love it!

Helen

PS: Never come on this site thinking we'll save you money. The question "should I get..." is nearly always answered with several dozen resounding cries of "yes!!!"

And Jeanne should know, because her Lovely As A Tree cards are legendary.
I ordered Lovely As a Tree because of the beautiful cards she makes with this set.
This set is probably one of the easiest of all to use as it looks gorgeous just plainly stamped, but you can do as little or as much to this set as you feel comfortable with.

I love this set and bought it a long time ago. You can make some very simple manly cards with it. I will stamp the multiple tree one on glossy with Versamark, emboss with irradescent ice, and roll over it with a blue spectrum pad. Looks like sparkling winter trees. So easy!

Lovely as a tree is my all time favourite set- awesome for masculine birthdays, thinking of you- and to use for sympathy cards- you can use the chalks with it- the watercolour pencils- I have done one card- i stamp it and then use the two way glue pen and glitter- love it! Yep- my favourite set and the most versatile set you can get!!

Default It is really a great set!

Don't be afraid the style of the stamp is such that anyone can make beautiful cards their first time.

Agree with others you NEED IT! I have had first time stampers get hooked from this set with Embossing. It is really easy to get FAB results
