i was reading somewhere on here on how to save some money when it comes to supplies, so while i was at Walmart today i found the plain white cardstock from Georgia Pacific, needless to say i pick up the box... My nephew and son were screaminh and fighting, so i wasnt paying any attention, paid for my stuff and came home. I chekced my reciept to check the price of something else and saw WOW the cardstock id only 4.97 for 150 sheets. Good Deal Right.......No even better one. I picked up a CASE...Not thinking there was 6 reams of cardstock in there............So how lucky was tha a got a CASE for 4.97..... 6 packages of 150 sheets eachfor $4.97...........I am so excited...
at least it wasnt my mistake...I dont have to buy white cardstock for a really long time!!!!

I would go back and let them know their mistake. Those packs of cardstock are only $4.97 each not for 6 packs. Yes, it was their mistake but, I believe, the right thing to do would be let them make the decision whether you get to keep it all at that price or not.
I agree with Robyn. I would take it back, and tell them. It was their mistake, but you'll know you did your part as far as letting them know. They may let you keep it, and that would be a GREAT deal!!!
Bad karma on the good deal....definitely it is your duty to report the mis-charge and hope they figure out a "deal" for you for being honest. If you didn't KNOW that there was an error, you would not be culpable - however, knowing there was an error, you are morally responsible to report it and either return the items you didn't pay for or pay for the items that you took out of the store.
JMHO
I went back to the store and explained the whole situtaion and the manager was very happy with my honesty and was surprised i went back...........that was a huge error, even tho we are all human and make mistakes, it wasnt right ......... Hey but 150 sheets for $4.97..........you cant beat that price, that is so cheap and that pack will still last me a long time
.......So i was a good girl and did the right thing ...........otherwise it would have bothered me too much ...i'm not that type of person and i would not want it done to me and my business.......
Have a nice night everyone.. Happy Stamping , Happy Crafting!!!!

Well thank you for your kudos. i had to do what was in my heart and that was the right thing. the paper weight is 110lb. it seems to be the same thickness, i think the SU has a bit more of a shine to it in a sense. I love the SU whisper white, but it is pricey, i go through white cardstock like water, so i need a cheaper one. i do keep whisper white on hand when i need to do ONLY SU products. If you want PM me and i can send you a few sheets for you to compare it before you go buy it, if you deicde to...

I have been buying and using the Wal Mart cardstock for a while now. Granted it's not the same as what SU sells, I did a comparison a few years ago at a print shop and the stuff equal to SU's back then was almost $30 for a ream of 250. SU's cardstock is a really bright white, compared to the Wal Mart's ream which looks a bit grayer or dull when the two are compared. But the people I send cards to can't tell which white is better, half the time my cards get discarded, so I go with the Wal Mart paper for general cards. For those who appreciate the art of stamping, they get the good paper. LOL!!!
I hear ya with going through the white like water! SU cs is 80 lbs, so I'm sure yours is a really good quality. Thanks for the offer to send a few sheets- that's incredible generous of you. I might just have to wander on down to my local Walmart and pick up a pack. Happy stamping.
Good for you Vickey:0). By the way, what's the paper weight? I'm just curious how it compares to SU. I understand it's the same company. Thanks.
In general, it is good quality. I used to use it for stamping images before I bought SU White. But after stamping on SU white, I can't go back to GP. I still buy GP pack for layers and card base but not if I want to stamp images on it.

Same here. You can really tell a difference on the more solid stamps. I keep GP around for practice stuff, but not for actual stamping. GP also works very well through the printer.

Vickey, sounds like you still got a good deal and now you can feel good about it, too. Wish we had more folks like you in the world. I love SU paper the most, but agree that most people would not notice the difference in a card I send.

Same here! The dye inks tend to bleed a bit on this paper. But I love the sturdier weight for my card bases!
Still a deal for one pack! I love Walmart white, cause it's the color I use most often, so I hate to use SU (cause I goof a lot of first stamping attempts) and waste it. Every other color I use is SU, and I don't think anyone can tell the white is different.
