Default Magazine Collectors

Do you ever let go? I love magazines, and have multiple subscriptions, but am running out of room. So what do you other magazine addicts do with your not-so-current issues? Do you keep them all? How do you keep them? Do you pull out the sections/ideas you want and toss the rest?

Anyone with ideas?

I sell my old stamping and home decorating magazines on ebay. Some sell better than others. If I have torn out any pages I note that in the description and people are fine with that as long as they know this before bidding.

Oh my no....can't bear the thought right now! If they get crowded on my shelf, I just stack them on top of each other at one end! I have a magazine holder that sits on my desk with all the current mags in it!

I have a hard time getting rid of my Bon Appetite mags. I love to cook. So when they were getting unruly, I got one of those rolling storage bins for under the bed. Where they will probably never be heard from again! But at least I know they're there!!! No wonder I dream about food! Ha!

My whole apartment is overrun with magazines. I had to get rid of lots of them to move from California to Texas. I had to pick which magazines had more projects vs. adverts and then pull the project pics and instructions. I also pulled any photos that would make good inspiration. I filed all these "bits" in page protectors and put into a 3 ring binder. I made sure that I knew which mag/issue they came from so if I have to go searching for something I forgot to tear out I can purchase a back issue. I haven't had to do this yet.

Good luck!

I store quite a few magazines but, recently cleaned stock out a little. When I did, I got rid of older mags first. I tore out some of the projects, patterns, and stuff and filed them in a folder by category Scrapbook or stamps.
