Question Magazine Subscriptions?

There seems to be so many magazines out there, which one or more do you recommend and do you subscribe to them or just pick them up on an ad hoc basis?

Paper Crafts is my favorite... and I love all the extra editions throughout the year.. Card Creations, Holiday Cards, etc. And even though I don't scrapbook often, I also like Scrapbooks Etc and Creating Keepsakes. You can check out "trends" in the industry and also incorporate some of their ideas into cards or other projects.

I just pick up something at Joann's or Michael's (or even the grocery store) once in awhile.

1* I like the gallery here better than most magazines... ESPECIALLY the Fan Club Gallery.

2* I don't need another collection of magazines that I can't bear to part with. My house is so filled with paper now that.... well it may not be a fire hazard yet..... but.....

For cardmaking I really like CardMaker or Stampington's Take Ten or Stamper's Sampler.

Papercrafts and Paper Trends/Cards are both great IMO but Papercrafts is a much cheaper choice.

I subscribed to RubberStamper and Paper Crafts. As you know, RubberStamper went out of business which made me sad because that was my fave. Paper Crafts and I had a disagreement about the length of my subscription so I never renewed. It seemed to focus more on crafting with paper instead of stamping, although I did buy a recent issue because it had a lot of Christmas projects. I ALWAYS buy the special issues of Paper Crafts though, like Stamp It and Holiday Cards. And I buy them at Joann's or Michael's or Hobby Lobby with a coupon.
