Default Magazines for stampers

Hi there ladies! I live in the UK, where we are lacking in good magazines for projects for people who enjoy stamping. I heard it mentioned that Australia has some good mags, but I've done a search and they have a couple - I'm not sure which one was the good one! Does anyone read them or could recommend a good one to subscribe to please?

Default Favorite Card/Craft/Stamping Magazine?

I was looking for similar magazines in the US, I subscribe to CardMaker Magazine, which is nice enough, but I'd like more, especially involving stamping techniques. I just got something in the mail today about Beautiful Cards magazine thats from the UK, but I don't know anything about it (like how much info it has on stamping). Sorry I can't help more. I hope more people respond to this thread so we can both get some answers!

Have a great day!

I have a couple of friends that live in the UK. One of them has been featured in one of the UK Paper crafting Magazines. Her SCS Name is UKJem.

I can't remember the name of the magazine. but I know I've seen this one on our US newstands. It's good.

I used to live in the UK and bought 'Craft Stamper' even though it was frequently derisory. I bought it because it was really all there was devoted to stamping. However I believe this month it has had a complete overhaul (long, long overdue). I haven't seen a copy yet but it might be worth taking a look. There used to be a gorgeous magazine from the Netherlands sold in the UK (can't remember the name) but they only went for a few issues. It is now only available in the Netherlands in Dutch.

However, have a look at the Stampington range of magazines from the US. They are quite a feast. I subscribe to Stampers' Sampler from them, but there are a lot of others to choose from, frequently cutting edge stuff. Happpy browsing!

Do you have a web address for this magazine? Perhaps you could add a link.;)

I wrote that message just thinking aloud really!!! It's a new venture to take my projects and templates to a new level. I don't know if it's permitted to post the link - please delete it if it's not! timeforcrafting.co.uk

Hi Roly
I agree that good mags in the UK are hard to find! I used to spend a fortune on various mags, but since joining SSC I rarely buy any. I find that the gallery here is inspiration enough - if I see a card and want to know how it was created I just contact the poster and they have always been happy enough to share their techniques!

Default Visiting UK

My daughter lives in the UK and when I visit I always purchase CRAFTS BEAUTIFUL AND SCRAPBOOK INSPIRATIONS. I find them both good.
