So I was at my stamping groups monthly get-together and we were trying sliding cards. After struggling with cutting plastic bags exactly 1 inch, we figured there must be an easier way. Our brilliant leader suddenly yelled "I got it!!" and ran outside to, of all places, her barn! She returned with the 1" marking tape. You know, the stuff you tie around trees to mark trails etc. Anyway I tried it last week and it really works! The cards slide very easily. It's also cheap!
TOO TERRIFIC--my DH is a nurseryman and we have rolls and rolls of the stuff--now it just means what color--white, or yellow, or red, or hot pink, or stripes, or black, or....He has ALL kinds! (just kidding--I'd just ask him for some white--LOL!)

Since I would get it from my DH and he buys it by the pallet load, but the first place I would look for it is at his favorite toy store AKA the "orange store" AKA Home Depot. After that, I would look at our local farm and ranch store. BTW it is called FLAGGING TAPE.
