Question Marble tile?

I've been looking at the tiles in the gallery and thought that this would be an awesume idea to have my Sunday School kids do for Mother's Day! Small problem... how do you do them? What kind of sealer is best? What all do you need? Hopefully I will get my starter kit tomorrow so that I will at least have my stamps but what else will I need?

thanks in advance

Oopsie guess I'm not the only one looking for the answers to these questions. I just found another thread.
thanks

Default Tiles

Katharine,
I noticed that nobody responded to your post. I know that it is past Mother's Day but I figured that you may still want to know how to do them. You stamp your image with StazOn, bake them at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes and then color them in. I use Sharpies to color them in so that they are still porous. I am pretty sure that you can use any type of pigment ink to color them, anything that is permanent. I have heard that if you seal them they will no longer be porous. The tiles that are used are called Tumbled Tiles and the style is Botticino. They carry them at 2 of 3 Home Depots that I have been to.

Thanks bunches

We didn't get to make them for Mother's Day (we decorated flower pots instead and planted forget-me-nots!) but the tiles would also be something different than the regular ties for Father's Day for the kids to make!

Thanks again
