Question Markers or Pastels or WaterCrayons?

If you could only get one complete set -- would it be the markers, the chalk pastels or the new watercolor crayons???

Definitely the watercolor crayons!! I hardly ever use my pastels, and markers tend to be too dark for me. I'm hosting a workshop next month and the wc crayons are the first thing on my list.

I love the look of all of them, and am in the same boat...don't own one complete set of anything but watercolour pencils!! I am seriously thinking about the watercolour crayons, it certainly sounds like you can do alot with them.

Hi, I am new to this commenting thing.
Anyway I would go with the crayons. They look like fun to use. I have those on my list as well. I do have the pastels and markers and use the pastels most of the time. GET THE Crayons!!

Hum... I have the pastels, the pencils and now the crayons. I do not have the markers, but would like to .... for handwriting things, and highlighting certain parts of stamps.... I love my new crayons.... love love love that you can color on them and then stamp! I use my pencils the most.... I don't know why, but to me they give virtually the same look as the crayons when used with blender pens, just not as many colors. I am no help at all, except I would put pastels last on my list... I rarely use them anymore.

Definitely the markers!! I have all the different coloring products, and I like the markers the best. One thing I use my markers for is to scribble on the inside lid of the matching inkpad. Then I use my AquaPainters or Blender Pens to color in my stamped images. You can use the marker directly to color in for a bolder color, say an outline or something you want highlighted, then use the scribbled ink w/ Blender Pen or AP for a more muted look. I've found that the AP gives the lightest color of all. I love my watercolor crayons, but I love my markers more! Being able to color different parts of a stamp different colors is awesome too!

Definitely watercolor crayons! They're vibrant and alive when you color the stamp with them or just as regular watercolors.

I agree with Azevedo! I don't have the WC Crayons yet (gettin' them for my birthday next month), but I love the versatility of the markers. Having the complete set makes it great!
