Default Michael's Clear $1 Stamps--New shipment today!

Hi ladies. I happened to be in Micheal's at just the right time. As I was digging through the $1 Clear stamps for a clear block, a gentleman came up with BOXES of new stamps! I got first dibs, and here are some quick pics for you all to see. Why is this soo addicting?!?!?! Have a great afternoon!

My Michaels put some of those out a few days ago. They are so cheap, it's hard to pass them up. I don't feel the need to own all of them, usually by the time I add them up I realize I could spend that money on something I really want and I end up putting a lot back.

It is so crazy the way I HAVE to buy these when I find them at Michaels. I have tons of the other sets and still would love to have these new ones if I can find them.

I have actually....gasp.... used some of them to make cards though.

Can't seem to open up that program, can you send it as a pdf file? Thanks for the update though.

If only I could get the new stamps when y'all do! I honestly think that my Michael's doesn't get their stamps until a couple months after everyone else does!

Thanks CheriAnn...as soon as I saw your post, I ran up to my Michael's and picked up 14 of the new clear stamps. I feel so stamp rich! I've been stalking Michael's on a daily basis anticipating this new series...I guess I can relax a bit until I see postings about the Xmas set!

I went to my local scrapbook store the other day and was surprised to see they had all the new sets for $1.09. I bought all the Christmas ones they had...one of each set. If you happen to live around Noblesville, IN they are at Scrapbook Corner.

I bought 15 of these acrylic stamps in the past & did not like how they don't stamp well with SU classic ink. Did not try with pigment though. All the unused sets are ready to return.
Do you guys have any problem inking these up?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. When I use these samps, the ink lookes like tiny bubbles on the cardstock. Does anyone else have this problem or any solutions?
Thanks in advance!!

I have found that you have the ruff the surface some before stamping (I use very fine sand paper or nail file, which ever is closest to my hand )
And also, you cannot press too hard on them, you have to use a light touch.
But practice is the key.

I have heard rubbing them with an eraser, or on jeans, gets a coating off of them.

I will have to check out Michaels. Our new Michaels has never had these but the old one in the next town has them sometimes. These are too cute!

We must shop at the same store. I went this morning looking for the new sports one, but they didn't have ANY new ones. (But I still came home with a block for my So Many Sayings--yeah!)
