Ok ladies-
Michael's is great, but they are making it harder and harder to save a buck or two, don't you think? I called 1-800-Michaels (1-800-642-4235) and pressed #6 to get a customer care rep on the line. I let her know that I wasn't happy with the changes and restrictions they are placing on their coupons and on using a competitors coupon. Don't you think that if we all did this, things might change?
Jo-Ann's for one (we don't have Hobby Lobby in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area) will still let you use a Michael's and a Jo-Ann's coupon on the same day, and if you have a 40% off coupon that was mailed to you, you can still use it with the Jo-Ann's 40% off that comes in the paper on Sundays. Michael's won't let you use two coupons of the same denomination together. Michael's doesn't let you use their coupons on books or magazines either!
I just feel like I'm being driven away by the new Michael's policies. I teach community ed. classes and the school districts can't pay much, so every chance I find to cut costs help! So please step up and let's see what we can do together!!
My Michaels let me use (4) of the 50% off on one purchase last Friday...each store is different here though in what they allow.

That's amazing. I've never had success using more than one coupon a day. I get the "one coupon per customer per day, " or "the register won't let me use more than one." Good for you.
I liked the part where the coupon says "reproductions not accepted." If I'm printing from my computer, isn't that a reproduction? How would they know if it's printed or copied? Hmmmmm......
