I went to Michaels today with my 50% off coupon and heard the employees talking about someone designing the ads making a mistake and forgetting to include the exclusion for the Cricut and accessories so they have to sell them half price. The cartridges are already on sale so you can't save on them, but if you even think that you want a Cricut, now is the time to get it. Who knows if you will get the chance to get it that cheap again. Happy shopping. If you don't get the Sunday paper, go to the store and get one today.
I was there today and was wondering that because it didn't say you couldn't use the coupon on the coupon, but when I got to the register I heard the associates talking because I was buying a Xyron and she wanted to make sure I could use the coupon and she said yes, just not on the Cricut.
Hmmm, I think they would have to sell them for half off anyway if it doesn't state it on the coupon.

If anyone is able to get one let us know.
Someone in the store was asking them if they could get the Cricut and they said yes, because the coupon was printed wrong. It was their mistake and they have to honor it.
Hmmm, seems like they could just do what my local stores have done and put signs up on the Cricut displays saying that they're not available to purchase with coupons. However, if they haven't done that AND the coupon doesn't say that Cricut stuff isn't eligible, I don't see how they can get out of honoring a coupon. Good luck to those of you with those "good" coupons!
I wonder if there will be anymore on the shelves. The employees will just be instructed to pull them off of the shelves for the week. Man, I wish in San Antonio the coupon was messed up, I would already be there.
I have a coupon the doesn't have the cricut on it and I am NOT planning to use it (no money in the checkbook!!) If you are interested please let me know. I live in WI for those that are looking for this coupon.

For those coupons that don't say anything, if you have to, go in and talk to a manager. When I get those 50 off coupons I usually go in and buy Thomas the Train stuff. Last time I bought the drawbridge(I think that was the one). Regualr price 45.00. I get to the register and it scans that its on sale. I went straight to service desk and argued the fact that it doesn't show on sale on the flyer. The girl tells me its an in store sale. I asked why there wasn't a sales tag in front on the merchandise . I told her "There's at least 200 sales tags in this store telling me whats on sale and you're telling me someone couldn't put 1 more on the Thomas merchandise to let consumers know that's on sale". She promptly said let me call the manager. Of course I got it at half price.
Makes me mad because they've tried that before. Once I had my hb go in with a half price coupon. They did the same thing to him. With the Thomas stuff. He comes out to the car, "they didn't let me get it with the coupon". I snatched the coupon and receipt out of his hand and went to argue about it. After talking to the person at the service desk, they let me use the coupon.
I don't know if they really do have "in store sales" but they should at least mark ALL merchandise thats on sale, not just the sales flyer stuff.
