There's so many things you can do with 'em. Making jewerly is very popular. I haven't figured how to do that yet. I want to use 'em on altered books.
Here's one I found in the gallery...
His prices are excellent and his shipping was quick and reasonable. They often carry both the glass kind and the shatter free kind (polycarbonate).
I bought the polycarbonate ones and they are significantly thinner than the glass ones, but they can be cut with scissors and punched with a hole punch. I like them for scrapping as I won't have to worry about them braking when the book is looked at. However, I know that he has carried glass ones too.
If he is out of stock of what you want, check back. Occasionally he has been out of stock, but he gets them back in fairly quickly.
Good Luck

Are the polycarbonate ones clear? Or do they look somewhat cloudy? I like the clear image look of the glass. Using the polycarbonate ones for scrapbooking is a great idea!
I made some awesome slides at a class. We used them for cards and also made scrapbook page. We used ac tape from Home Depot for the foil tape. Worked awesome and on one card we used wire wrapped with beads to hold them together. Hope that helps some!

It is silver tape that comes in a roll like drywall type but it is silver and is like a sticker. It is foil. I think it is used for the duct work on ac's. I told my dh what I wanted and he came home from Home Depot with what I had used! Hope that helps.
The best place I've gotten microscope slides with kits including the copper foil and slide books is at www.alacarteartstamps.com. They are reasonably priced and come in a variety of slide book forms. Plus there are samples to inspire you.
