Help me... which do you like better?
Which do you think will retire, or not?!? (I think Mini Mates is older-but that's not always a good retiree indicator, is it?)
I want to get one of these 2 sets with my *ANY SET for FREE* that I will earn from the SAB Promotion- but I hope I don't pick one that will retire in 3 mos..... (OK, I know I won't be able to choose the FREE set until March- but I'm just getting prepared!)
My vote would be Mini Mates although I own them both. I like the bolder images of MiniMates. You don't have to color them in to get color in your image.
I agree with Fran. I have both but having been trying to trade Good Times because I just don't use it. I do however, pull out mimi mates for many cards. Hope that helps.

My advice to you is not to inquire why or whither, but just enjoy your ice cream while it's on your plate. Thornton Wilder
I tend to prefer Good Times.... mostly because the Mini Mates images all seem to have hearts incorporated into them and they're not always appropriate to my project.
Well, if your luck is like mine whichever one you pick will be the one to retire! I manage to do that every year... %-(
Both sets are great. I use Mini mates a lot, and Good Times is fun for 'Savvy Stamps' type cards - which I love! www.savvystamps.com may have some ideas for you. Actually, Mini Mates is good for them too.
Bet that helped you a lot! ha-ha! NOT!

Tough one. Mini mates has great sayings but the images are not my favorite. I think that good times has much cuter images and they are probably easier to work with. Good times has only been in the catalog for 2 years so it will probably be here longer than mini mates. It's really personal preference. Mini Mates was the first set I ever bought and I've held onto it because of the little sayings.
I like mini mates for the sayings which fit perfectly even on the tiny tags you can punch out from some of our boxes. I don't use it often, but when I do the little sayings will usually do the trick!

Exact a tacka ly! Too many hearts when doing neutral stamping! I went with Good Times!
I have both of these sets but I use Mini Mates a lot more. Good Luck with your decision. Don't forget that you can also order from the Spring mini book which I haven't received yet!!!

It all depends on your preference... I personally prefer Mini Mates primarily because of the solid images whereas Good Times is line art which may require coloring in.
