I would like to buy another Spectrum Pad (I have Celebration) but have no idea which one I should buy next. I would like to know what everyone's favorites are.
This is not what you were asking for,but I think I have 2 of the least favorite spectrum pads: Taffy and Blue Frost. I bought blue frost thinking snowflakes and winter- therefore, do not get this one as it is not very versatile. And, I have no idea why I got taffy... it is so, so very light!! I always have to ink the brayer twice to get a hint of color. Maybe I should search the gallery to see if someone has done anything inspiring with them. I'm sure you would be happy with anything other than these 2 pads.
Okay- I take that back- Just checked the gallery and melmel has this beautiful card. Maybe I need to get the reinkers and reink my spectrum pad-her colors are fairly vibrant for these soft shades. Lovely as a tree is a must with all spectrum pads
I love Late November too! But also consider buying the uninked Spectrum Pad then you can design your own color combinations. I am going to use a few of mine with my new Colorbox Fluid Chalk Reinkers!
Another vote for Fiesta, (although I find the blue is not as vibrant as the restof the colors), but was also going to suggest buying the uninked ones and creating your own combination. My friend just did a beautiful one in pinks and reds for Valentines day
I have almost all of them except Fiesta and Twist. I use them ALL and love my spectrum pads. I have a sample with the Taffy pad and the wax paper resist technique in my gallery here.

I don't have a fav. However, buy one or more of the Stampin' Spot pkgs and make your own "spectrum pad". You can make any colour combo you wish.
Take your wheel guide and make it into 90 degree angle, line up five spots and ink up your brayer, then transfer this ink to your stamp (or directly to c/s) and stamp away. Make sure the spots are very, very juicy - the brayer must look wet or the ink won't transfer well to stamps.

Thanks, but I did not "invent" this. This was a hint on the demo-only forum and I can't find that thread to credit them. So, whomever you were: thanks for the wonderful idea!!!
1- Pumpkin Patch (love this one during the fall)
2- Taffy (like using this with Lovely as a Tree)
3- Parfait (just because I like it)
And I have Blue Frost coming in on Monday. I saw a beautiful card done with it and Lovely Leaves and bought it just because of that card. Will be case'ing this card for next months workshop.
Hope this helps. Pam

Interesting thread , but I have another question .
When you brayer over the spectrum pad, it is only about a 2 or 3 inch revolution, how do you get the ink to be a solid colour and not half of it light.
I only buy the uninked pads now, that way I can use reinkers and get any color pad I want...you don't have to be locked into 5 seperate colors either...you can use 2,3 or 4 colors, just by inking more than one cell with the same color. If you don't have re-inkers, I highly recomend them, there is so many things you can do with them....anyone that has done a swap with me, sees that I make my own color pads. I love the look of originality! In all of SU products, my money was spent the wisest on my re-inkers, un-inked pads and my brayers! Have a Ball!
