My son is krabearkub on SCS, he stamps more than I. I'm the demo so I support his habit He loves SU products and is enjoying the resource information on SCS.
Any other mom/sons that stamp?

krabearkub is almost 17, he cleans his own stamps AND puts it all away!
He started stamping about 5 years ago, he's been doing a volunteer ministry at our church for about 4 years. He makes birthday and anniversary cards for everyone, that's about 200 people!
Check out his gallery, he's gotten very good since we found SCS.

My son is 11 and stamps with me some. He scrapbooks more and received his first scrapbook for his 8th birthday. I told him the basics and let him go. He does a great job and it is something he will always have. As he gets more experienced he can look back at how he has improved with practice and time.

His stuff is great! Looks like you have a "downline" in the house.

My son is 14 and actually had a class project where he had to do a demo of something they were good at. Do you know what he picked?? Of course stamping!! OMG!! He mad a journaling book with a wheel, staples and ribbon. It turned out so well! I was so proud. He mad enough for everyone(25 kids) the night before and earned a 97% on the final score. I couldn't tell you why he didn't get a 100%, teacher must have been a NONstamper LOL!
I also have a 4 year old girl who, believe it or not, is a more avid stamper than I. She would stamp all day if I let her~ I would too if I had the time!!
Thanks,
Nicky and I stamp alot. He's 4 now. He's always so proud when he stamps something. And he will ONLY stamp on the dining room table. LOL "Mama! Cwean off the tabow so I can stamp!" LOL

Hunter is 8 and loves to stamp with me. He makes cards for his friends birthdays and relatives as well. He created a whole new look that he's called 3D stamping. You stamp the image and then move one end slightly above or below. It blurs the image but he was so excited that he 'discovered' this technique, how could I not be proud? lol

Each of my sons (24, 22 and 1 have used my stamps, but my 18-year old uses them every couple of months to make a card for his fiance (yes, he is too young). His fiance is also a stamper. He is also quite creative!

Gay Howe
LOL! Gay, I just laughed out loud at you sneaking your editorial in there LOL!
My brother got married at 19 and was married for 33 years (we lost him to cancer). And my mother thought he was too young also.
My 6 yr old son stamps with me alot, I gave him all my old ones and foam stamps, bought the ink that washes off, and he uses all the cs that I used before I discovered SU! lol
My almost 5 year old son stamps with me more than my 3 year old daughter does! He LOVES the Fresh Fruit stamps. He especially likes my real red stampin write marker! I have had to order another one just for me cuz he uses it ALL the time! He likes to make cards for his grandma!

This is the best thread ever!
I have two sons (3 yo and 2 yo). The 3 yo loves to stamp. I seriously don't like to share with him/them because all I have is my good stuff. I guess I need to get them their own stamp pads. The 2 yo grabs the ink pad every time and then starts touching other random things - walls, furniture, fabric - makes for cute fingerprints, if you can stand the annoying cleaning you have to do! (Is that a run-on sentence or what!?)
It's wonderful to read that their desire to do what mommy is doing could turn into a real joy later on.

Love Kurtis' stuff. Love that he makes cards for the church family. AND he is one of just a few stampers who have responded to the "Lonely Sets Challenge." Way to go!!!
Thanks GarnetJ for the kind words. Kurtis started out using the SU childrens pads, cardstock was cheap stuff that I bought at home education conventions and picked up stamps.
Now only SU will do! He loves to include embelishments.
I'd encourage you moms to get the childrens washable stamp pads, let your kids claim them as their own, give them a few stamps of their own-and cheap paper for the young age and let them bless others.
I would mail cards that I thought were weird but the person receiving it saw only love in that card. Kurtis is still working on making decisions on colors together, isn't that why the color wheel is used? But the designs just fly out of his head
He also knows the ins-and-outs of the computer so he likes being helpful to others on this site in that area.

My son is only 4 months old, and maybe he doesnt know it, but he also LOVES stamping! I already got him a cute lil apron to wear! He sits in his highchair and watches me now, he is absorbing, so when he gets the coordination, he will be a stampin fool!
My four year old loves stamping. He can identify and name all 48 colors of SU ink. The new colors throught him for a loop, but he has learned those, too, now. He'll say, "Come on Mommy - Let's go to the Stamping Room and work." What a great buddy he his! Charlotte
My DS is 7 and loves too stamp. He has some of his own stamps and then we share mine. He is really good at cleaning the stamps. He is just starting to get into scrapbooking too. When I take a picture he will say That's a good one for the scrapbook mom! It's nice to have some one to play with sometimes. Keep up the good work ladies. Kerry
My 11 year old son Eric likes to stamp. He has a current wish list and loves anything Asian-inspired. He still isn't too good about cleaning up but his enthusiasm for stamping tickles me so much that I'm willing to clean just to see his work!
no sons here, 2 DD's who like to stamp but I wanted to say my oldest nephew is 14 & you should see his scrapbook!!! It is great. He stamps too but really likes to have his scrapbook up to date.
That fantastic. How old is your son? My son is 5 and loves to stamp with me also but, I must admit, I don't share very well.
Lol - I don't share well either.
My sons are 5, 3, and 1 (I also have a 7 yr old daughter). I prefer to let them paint, use foam stuff, anything but my ink pads and stamps. My 3 yr old *always* sits at the table and watches whenever I make a card. He's really into it.
