Default Mounting Unmounted Stamps- Indexing TAC

I uploaded this weekend how to get the image on the back of the cling foam. I wanted to post to share the idea. It is not a new idea, but I have the directions and step by step photos on my blog! Please feel free to share!

It should be on the front page but if not click on tutorials on the right hand side.

Have a great day!

I checked out your blog site...It's cool!

I never thought about indexing my Unmounted rubber stamps.

Only because when I put my stamps together I also make a index sheet to fit in my CD case.

For me this is easier.

Gwen - I only have a few TAC sets but this is exactly how I did this & it lined them up as perfectly as possible. Did have to just sit & look at it for a bit to make sure I didn't do it backwards (my brain doesn't work in reverse very well). Love that the image is where I can see it & not so frugal that I worried about salvaging any of the scraps trimmed off - not a good tradeoff for me.

That's exactly how I do mine. Most are spot on, and the ones that are a little off- well I have SU blocks where I couldn't get the index perfectly straight too! And I have some hero arts that are mounted so crookedly I won't buy premounted stamps anymore!

Can I add one more "hint"- make sure when you trim, you look at the rubber side not the cling side. I've seen so many ladies start trimming based on the index - even though they know it's not perfectly straight. oops! Thankfully, all of them have realized it before any major accidents.
