Question moving ink pads

I am going to be moving soon. Is it safe to send my ink pads (mostly Stampinup) on the moving truck? It would just be overnight. Temperature may be warm, but probably not hot like in Texas right now.

As long as they are packed securely so nothing can tip over or leak, I'd think that should be ok just for overnight.

I have moved and posted inkpads, and what I do, is if they are in a box set, I will put them into a ziplock bag and then move/post. Otherwise I will put them into a plastic container that fastens securely. I will fill up the blank space with screwed up news paper so they don't move too much. HTH.

I feel completely confident encouraging you not to worry. Our belongings were in storage in CT for almost a year, and all of my ink pads were fine.

All the best with the move!

Mine have been moved several times and they always make it fine. Right now they are on a boat somewhere on the Atlantic which isn't their first trip across the seas and I have no concerns.

Thank you to all of you for your helpful information. All of my stamping supplies are stored and I am missing stamping. Can't wait to stamp again.

Default moving

yes, they will be fine. We moved a month ago, and I packed all my inks in a big plastic storage tub. I miss stamping too, most of my stuff has yet to be unpacked into my new craft room.

My ink pads spent a Nebraska winter and summer in a garage and they were good to go when I used them next. I expected them to have gone bad, but to my delight, they were as good as when I tucked them away.

The best part of the packing up and moving is.........the unpacking and seeing all of your goodies again. It's like Christmas when you were a kid!
