Default follow-up .... what to do...

Has anyone ran their vellum thru their printer? Any special tricks?!? I need to do this tomorrow and am afraid of it jamming all up.

Ditto the printer thing! Make sure you give it plenty of dry time. As for inks, I use classic inks on vellum all the time...gives me more colors to choose from. They work fine...but again, gotta wait a few minutes for it to dry.

Brillance is a brand of ink that dries quite well on vellum.

I like to emboss on vellum...usually when I use sentiments.

If you have access to a Laser printer (they let me use theirs all the time at work as long as its on a break or lunch), there is no drying time. And it won't smear with water.

A couple years ago I did our wedding announcement with vellum and an inkjet printer. I found that basic vellum works best, the metalic finish vellum wouldn't dry no matter what, and the lower "quality" setting the printer was set at the better luck I had. HTH
