Default Mystery Books that are stamping/scrapbooking related

In Gina K's first issue of her magazine there was a list of mystery books. Are her magazines archived somewhere? I could not find the archives on the website. Or...does someone know a few titles?

I got a 40% off Paperbacks coupon via email today for Borders and I would love to get one.

Terri Thayer's first book was published last year and there is a new one called Inked Up.

If you are looking for a specific list provided by Gina K, I'd consider sending her an email or a PM, or post your question in the member company forum .

Thanks! I will look for Terry Thayer and post on Gina's thread.

Both are excellent ideas!

I think that Joanna Campbell Slan was mentioned in the magazine.
Laura Childs also writes a mystery series where the main sleuth
owns a scrapbooking store.

I posted info on Terri Thayer's INKED UP in the "books & Magazines" section a couple weeks ago. Book one in the series, STAMPED OUT, was out last fall.

Hi all, I love mysteries and crafting books so I'm always on the lookout.

Terri Thayer was just okay. To be honest, I skimmed most of it.

Elizabeth Bright books are written by Tim Myers. He has a BUNCH of different themed crafting novels all under different names. I was not a big fan of the card shop mysteries. The candle shop ones are pretty good. He also have pottery and soapmaking, I believe and a few others.

Joanna Campbell Slan has two mysteries whose main character works at a scrapbook store. These are pretty good.

Laura Childs has a series set in New Orleans by a scrapbook store owner. Pretty good series.

I just read a really cute one by Barbara Bretton. The main character lives in a town full of magical people and she owns a knitting shop.

Mary Ellen Hughes has a really good series about a character who owns a craft shop. This was a good series, I recommend it.

I read a book last year that was set in a small town and was about a woman who owned a shop and held cardmaking classes for a small group; when one of the ladies died in an accident, each member of the group received a handmade card from her; the mystery goes on from there! I really liked the book and would like to find more but can't for the life of me remember the name of the book or the author! Does this sound familiar to any of you? The heroine had just moved into an apartment upstairs from a weird, suspicious character and I think her brother was a cop! Her eccentric (and rich) aunt worked in the shop for her; gee, the more I type the more I remember; maybe I'll remember the name if I keep going, LOL!

That's the Elizabeth Bright series (one of the pen names of Tim Myers). I think there are three books in the series.

I'm not a big fan of the Laura Childs series. I've read 2 of her novels, and I found the plots and characters to be very simplistic. (There are a lot of grammatical errors too.) The scrapbooking aspect seems to be forced and way behind the times. I haven't read anything by any of the other authors.

The Laura Child series is good, but I like the series with Kiki Lowenstein better. She's the main character. I can't remember who writes it, though.

The Sisters, Inc series isn't bad either. The 4th in that series just came out. I think Rebecca someone writes that.

I'm really bad with names, sorry for the inconvenience!

Ooh, just remembered: The Sisters, Inc series isn't a mystery series!
