Default Need help getting covering off Sticky Tape

I am trying to use this with microbeads and am having trouble getting off the cover so it is sticky on both sides.

How are you doing it?

Thanks, Debbie

Peel off a measure of sticky tape. Press it onto your item (card stock, pen, whatever.) Use a fingernail or bone folder pressing on top of the red tape. Peel off the red top.

I also heard that cutting it with pinking shears makes it easier to get the red cover off.

Both are great ideas. I will give them a try.

I often use the very tip of my craft knife to lift the backing off the tape. You can poke it into the backing just a bit and it will lift the tape so you can get ahold of it.

Scraping the point of a pin on the liner helps to get a place to lift as well.
