need help with remounting stamps...

I bought a used SU! alphabet set but it is unmounted with the cling vinyl. I do have a few um's but I prefer the wood mounts. The set still has the wood blocks and stickers so I would like to convert it. But when I tried to peel the cling off the sticky wants to come off with it. What is the best to use to stick the foam cushion down to the wood blocks? Crystal Effects? Anyone have good luck with anything? This is kinda a hard to find alpha or I wouldn't go through the trouble! :?

I have used the crystal effects in the past to re-attach stamps that have come apart. It works very well for this.

I would suggest rubber cement.

Someone posted here that if you are gluing rubber to foam, use rubber cement, if it's foam to wood, use Crystal Effects.
