Question Need Ideas

My friend asked me to make something that could be auctioned off to benefit Dollars for Scholars. I said I would, of course, but now I don't know what to make. A set of cards? Something altered? Does anybody have any good ideas, or better yet, samples to show? TIA!

i think a set of cards in a pretty box or tin would be nice

you could include a matching pen and postage

I like the cards in a pretty box idea too...I would also include a calendar for events for people to remember That way they can use the cards when they need them.

Default DSP Handbag

Did you see the link with the DSP made into a handbag? You could make cards and put inside of the handbag. I will try to post the link here.
Do a search if it doesn't work. Good luck. Another idea is scrapbook page layouts. Some people are buying premade ready to use Scrapbook pages.

Could the link posted be made un-restricted, please? Some of us are not permitted access to this link.

Thanks! Patti

I've done sets of four tile coasters that have gone for $25-$40 at silent auctions. People seem to like those stamped with the Artifacts set.

Great ideas...I knew you guys would come through. I love the idea to put stamps, a pen, a calendar, etc. with a set of cards. Coasters...that's also interesting. Thanks!

I can't get to the DP purse link either...maybe it's on the Demo side???

There was a set of handmade cards in a box auctioned at my school district's fund raiser. It brought in $50.

I made some baby paint cans for an auction that went over well. Here are two examples:
B is for Baby Can by lbirus at Splitcoaststampers
Baby Andrew Can by lbirus at Splitcoaststampers

I also bet that a tin with cards already done would go over:
Cutie Pie -n- Whimsy Organizer by lbirus at Splitcoaststampers

My bff bought some stamping supplies and auctioned them off with a coupon for a free workshop. Then the next year she did a free kids stamping bday party.
