Default Need Ideas for Girls B'day Party

I would like to make use of my stamps for my daughter's b'day party this weekend. What would be a good idea for the kids to make as a craft that afternoon? They are age 7 and 8 yr olds.

Thanks in advance for your ideas! I'm having a mind block. :?

Have you seen Vanessa's purses?

How about notepad covers or even coasters from tiles?

Those are adorable . . . I think little girls would love them !!! You could even get those candy "necklaces" and candy "bracelets" for them to dress up !!!

I have done crafts with Scout Troops and other girls this age and have a 7-1/2 year old myself. She has been stamping since she was 3!

Bookmarks are good. You can use your alpha sets to stamp R-E-A-D going down the bookmark and use flowers, etc. Love without End, Girlfriends, etc. are great.

They also LOVE shrink plastic. Just cut a square for each of them and let them stamp on it with StazOn. Color in with pencils and cut out (They may need help with the cutting-it is a little hard to cut). Punch a hole and then shrink. Attach with a jump ring to an elastic ponytail holder or with Crytal effects to an inexpensive barrette.

If you can find inexpensive pillowcases, these are good for stamping at sleepovers. They can stamp their name etc. Of course you will have to use craft pads and then heat set them.

Hope this helps.
