I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday to buy some nesties using the 40% off coupon and was told they no longer honor it. It was Spellbinder's decision not Hobby Lobby's...what a bummer and about a month ago I did buy some nesties there and used a coupon. Maybe that is why there were so many left!! I have bought some from Pat Catan's and they were $14.97 compared to HB at $24.97......AND I found curved rectangles at Pat Catan's for $9.99!!
I took it to register to make sure I read that tag right !! LOL Any one else have that happen to them at Hobby Lobby? anyway I will have nesties....LOL Patty
Bummer!! Does it actually say that on the coupon?? We just had a HL open here, and i was going to get a couple because of the coupon. Well, i guess someone else will get my money! Gotta have my nesties!!! LOL
Well, that just stinks. I've started collecting the sets at HL just because I could buy them locally with no waiting and shipping costs. I think I'll still try it at my local HL to see if they've gotten the message :mrgreen: . That is if they ever get in any more that I don't already have or that I want.

The only way they can refuse to honor the coupon is if there is a stipulation on the coupon excluding Spellbinders products. If not, they have to give the 40% off, as long as the item is not on sale.

Pat Catan's is a craft store in Northern Ohio and I believe there are some in Pennsylvania.

Yep, they do have great prices. A couple weeks ago, my sister bought 3 sets of Nesties. After the clerk rang it up, she asked us if the price was right (she thought it was high for what was in the package). She must have been fairly new and never sold any Nesties before. We assured her that yes, $14.97 was the right price and that most places sell the same thing for $24. She about fell over.

That's funny....I guess she had no clue about what to do with Nesties and could not imagine them costing $24.00.

I would have to agree with Cathy here. 40% is off anything at Hobby Lobby unless it excludes something by saying the exclusion on the coupon. I think the person at your HL was in error.
I would hate to see that discount go away too! I like going to my local HL, get the product for 40% off, and not pay shipping!

I agree that it has to say that on the coupon before they can refuse to honor it. AND I just bought a set at HL yesterday using the 40% off coupon, no questions asked!!!!!!!I've gotten all of mine that way (just wish they had a bigger selection). I would insist they honor the coupon or you;ll take all of your business somehwere else! Good luck!

I think exclusively in Northeastern OH & PA. I am originally from Northwest OH and have never seen one unless they have put one in since I moved. ;)
Cut at Home gives 40% VIP coupons that can be used on Nestabilites, so there is no reason, unless they have stopped as well, that the coupon should not be honored.
I just used my coupon Wednesday night for the classic ovals set. No problems! Maybe I'd better use another coupon today for the scalloped ovals before they decide not to honor the coupons anymore!

I was thinking the same thing. I just used one yesterday for the scalloped ovals, maybe I need to go back and get another set.

Okay, you girls got me all stressed out now, so I just ran up to my HL, and they only had 1 left, of course, i bought it. I had no problem using the coupon!! WooHoo! I will check my coupon tomorrow to see if they changed the exclusions. Otherwise, just in case, i will be buying nesties from HL every chance i get!!! and NO, I'm not obsessed!!!! LOL
I buy mine from cutathome.com she gives you a 40% off coupon every month and you can use it on nesties or whatever. They are great to work with. They are here in utah and I got to actually meet them in person friday and it was fabulous.
