OMG OMG OMG!!! My demo just emailed me and let me know her catty's are in...I GET TO PICK MINE UP ON FRIDAY!!!!!!!! I'm so excited, can't wait to see the new catty.
Karen, I don't think they "go live" online until July 1st.
When you flip it fast it "grows", it's like a flip book:-)
Oh, I see it!
I've already got my list together. My first order, my second order, and then my lukewarm list that I'll order from as people do stuff with the items that piques my interest.

Um, I've already ordered TWICE and that's JUST from the small sampling of pre order stuff...I'm SO in trouble!!!! :-)
Got my new catty last Thursday and was surprised to get is so early. Not real excited about anything in it yet but then I always find that I have many more must haves after I go to a couple stamp classes and a stamp camp or two and get to use new sets. Lots of items that I already got from minis last year. Have decided that the way to go with new in colors is to buy the assorted sets and then decide what I like the best and will use the most. Was hoping that more would be available in clear mount of some of the older items. Would like to see the single stamps offered in clear mount too. I usually clear mount them and put them in with other sets that have a similar theme. All in all, there is probably more on my list than I can afford to buy this year.
I think the art work in this catty is beautiful. There are a lot of things in here I like but there is a lot I already own because of so many items from past mini's. I spent a small fortune with SU this last year. The one area I think is lacking a little is the ribbon. I do like the in colors a lot. I am going to buy the deal for 29.95 where you get all the inks and paper. I think you get 4 sheets of each color. I think there are several must have stamp sets for me. I think it's a great catty.

They have said they won't make the single stamps in clear. I'm assuming it's just not cost effective to do so for one stamp. Bummer. So I wouldn't expect it any time soon unless we hear different....SU does tend to change their minds often:-)
You guys are killing me!! I hope to get my catty from my demo Wed or Thurs - just in time for our trip to the coast for the 4th weekend. I want to sit on the beach and pour through my new catty!!

Ok, here's a million and ONE:-) SU has not posted a PDF ANYWHERE. Not on the demo site or anywhere. They will NOT post the PDF for anyone demo OR customer until Friday. Can't leak it if it's not there....
Wish I had a demo so I could get a catty.. I have gone on the web site for SU 2x and requested a demo contact me but no luck.... a friend of mine's niece was a demo until about 3 years ago so I was able to get my fix... sigh

Keep trying...I found my demo on the SU demo request site. She's awesome and a good friend, too!
I have a demo but she would not give us the catty's at our last stamp club meeting 4 days ago. Is there a rule about when Demo's can give out the catty's?

Yes, we are not supposed to give them out until the 1st. The only exception was if people were hosting a workshop the 1st week of July, then we were allowed to give them one on I think it was the 25th.
While a lot of people do not agree with the rules and requests, as demos we agree to them and I respect your demo for waiting.

After the 20th of this month we could give them out at our discretion. It's up to each individual demo and some are confused as to the rules as well. It's possible your demo may not have them yet either.

You could also contact a demo who's blog you like...I'm sure most of us would love to have a new customer if you don't care if the demo is local or not. If not, keep trying on the locator. Maybe look them up in your area and see who has a website, you can see what classes and stuff they have!
I like the new hostess rewards program. I'm only a customer, and usually only earned a level one. Often the sets I really loved were a level two or three. I sometimes had to choose a level one I didn't like all that well because I had to choose something. I love the idea that I can spend it on regular catalogue products if I want too. That said, I like a LOT of the hostess sets this time around and am looking forward to being able to get some of them.
My thoughts exactly! I'm very happy with the new rewards program. I like the flexibility of choosing hostess sets or other products--but I'll probably be getting hostess sets this year.

You can order from whomever you want! Just can't go to their events if they are not in your area...that's the one drawback...but if you just want to order and are fine with email or phone communication (best to find one who has an online store so you can order any time you want) then chose anyone you want. Again, if you want to go to classes and host events then find someone close on the locator! And don't give up if you want a local demo, keep looking on the locator and trying people. I know I would respond if I ever got a hit, lol!
Got my catty last night at our monthly workshop. I have a very long wishlist! There are lots of new greetings stamps, and I love them all! I like the new hostess benefits. Looking forward to all the goodies this year.

My order is going to be HUGE on Friday, eek! I love the sentiments this time around too and I'm TRYING to cut some of them off my list...also trying to hold off on some of the less expensive sets and single stamps for SAB next year but that's a LOOOOONG time away!!! LOL!
My Demo had her Open house so I got my catalog and saw the new colors ! She gave us a swatch of each new color
I thought I would love the Calypso Coral and I do
I was surprised the Lucky Limeade green is much nicer than I expected.
I also loved the Pool Party and the Island Indigo
The color that disapointed me was Wisteria Wonder. It does not match the Concord Crush as I expected. Liking 4 colors out of 5 is great. We can't all like everything.
We made a card with the "Fabulous Florets ( pg 107) and it is a very versatile set! The chocolate Chip polka dot ribbon is lovely. It has a nice tiny scalloped edge.
All in all there are a lot more things I want from this catalog than I did last year.

I think I may be the only one here who has her catty and is thinking..."you know, there's only one stamp set (maybe) and two of the new in-colours I would get. That, and crumb cake, because I still don't have it." I like the new catty but, really, unless I see some cards with the new stamps that really WOW me, I probably won't be buying much out of it. I plan to use what I have and just replace card stock as needed.:(

Do you go to a card class? Just asking because sometimes I think I don't need anything until I get there and see what wonderful cards she has for us to make and then my list begins! Or my list changes when I get there because something she did makes me push the stuff on my list down a bit!
My demo had a wonderful hostess event last night, we got our catty's !!! made three cards, had yummy treats, and got a beautiful lawn ornament she made for each of us. I didn't order any of the new colors, still deciding. I ordered the new sympathy set. can't wait to have time to go through it again
My demo didn't think to order catalogs for her regular customers and now she is out of town, so I probably won't get a 'hold in my hands' catalog til August if ever. I may just stick with the one online and use the catalog fee for other things. We did meet with her last week to she her catalog though. I think I agree with Craftygirl04. Most of the sets in the new catalog that I liked, I already purchased from last years catalog or the new summer. I must admit, I actually like all the new in colors (usually only like 1 or 2) and there are 2 or 3 new sets I will buy. I do like the new hostess rewards set up. I usually have 1 workshop a year and only qualify for a level 1-now I can 'buy' the flower set I am sure would have been a level 3 in prior years with my hostess dollars. All in all, even just seeing it online, it seems to be a prettier, more eye appealing presentation. Also love the DVD cases, I have already moved many of my already unmounted older sets from CD cases to the DVD's and have cut my storage space in half. Also gotta say, with the prices lower for the clear mount, I won't buy a 'wood mount only' set. Not worth the added cost of wood I won't use plus added supplies to make them clear mount. Hope SU gets the message for next year and future minis.
Is there a pdf of the catty or is it only the online thingie? I am having trouble looking at it because it is harder to find a specific page and the magnifier thing is nearly impossible for me!
I will probably get my hard copy late this month or in August when I see my demo.
I had the same issue: You can save the link above to your computer as a pdf file. If the link above doesn't work, you can visit any demo site. They will have a category called catalogs and you can download the pdf version there. Good luck!

Yes, SU has gone to flash and it's annoying! At least I think so:-) IF you click on print or save though, it will convert to PDF and then save if you want. It's so much easier to look at in PDF I think!

I agree it's terribly annoying. You can't pull it up with any apple product. If you use an iPad for ideas while crafting, you're out of luck now.

You're not the only one who was not really seeing the potential of the stamp sets! There were very few (maybe 2) that I would give a second look, but then again I have amassed quite a collection of SU! sets over the years and I'm really not liking what I get for nearly $30 a set. I did, however, love all the IN COLORS, new embellishments and ribbon, so I easily spent $200 on my first order. Maybe the Holiday Mini will light my fire?
I can't believe how anxious I was to see the new catty and how disappointed I was when I got it. There are very few affordable stamps sets that I like. I wish they offered more single stamps at lower prices. The new dotted ribbon is OK but it's a replay from last year with a scallop. I wish SU would offer ribbon in ALL their colors not just a select few over and over. The only DSP I like is Berry Blossom, Paisley Petals and Beyond the garden. That being said, I do love SU's coordinating cardstock and ink, but it's getting more and more difficult for me to buy anything else from SU, especially when other companies keep coming out with new dies, embossing folders, embellishments and stamps at better prices, not to mention discount coupons from craft stores. I think the SU design team needs to shake things up a little; the present catty is unimpressive.
