That would be cool!! Any kind of background stamps can go onto a jumbo wheel for that matter. Think I need a bigger butt for background stamps.... Course the canvas stamp is AWESOME cuz you don't have to have the full image
I would love to see
tag punches
larger quantity of one fancy fiber
Jumbo ink cartridges in more colors
better verses for inside cards
Ummmmmmmm, what else....
a new color family- I want a pastel orange(it that even a color :? )
Make "everyday flexible pharases" into smaller more affordable sets
Adoption Stamps!!
Race Car Stamps! (I LOVE NASCAR!)
An invitation stamp like retired dot one. I still use that one but I can't demo with it.
State stamps. Like Hello from OHIO!
That's all I can think of for now!
I too would like to see eyelets sold individually and in 48 colors.
More jumbo wheels and more jumbo wheel cartridge colors
More designer paper (individually packaged, maybe smaller packages)--(never enough of one style in one package for a stamp camp)
Canvas background stamp
The new catalog is probably at the printer already, but one can wish.
I'm wishing for some get well sets. I make a lot of get well cards, and I wish I had more sentiments to choose from....plus all I have is my retired Happy Healing set to use or flowers.
I love all the ideas everyone has listed so far, I hope SU is lurking out there and reading all this. In case they are, I'll add my support for the following:
Tag Punches (and double sets so you can make a mat for the tag as well).
A new color family (I think it was Chillin who had the best list I've seen, she had 8, can we come up with 4 more and a name for it??? They sounded like pie flavors to me, maybe Delicious Dyes or Tasteful Tints?).
More inside sentiments (poetry and inspirational quotes like Penny Black has) and flexible phrases (maybe not a whole other set for $40, but just an add-on set for less)
And yes, all the colors in eyelets! and be able to purchase separately.
Overall, I think the catalogs are fantastic :!: I look at mine all the time. I would like to see...
* eyelets and brads in individual colors
* more masculine stamp sets - for all ages
* more get well sentiments
* more hole punches
* tips and techniques!!!

I agree with all the other posts. Really would like to see craft ink spots. For use with clear embossing powder to be able to emboss in all 48 colors.
In addition, I would also like to see a set of Seasonal Word Stamps that covers all 4 seasons - maybe with words like Welcome To Fall - Summer's Here - Sensational Spring - Wonderful Winter. KWIM Wouldn't need any image stamps to go with the words.
To bad SU doesn't give demos a survey to get our input on what we and our customers are looking for.

Okay, I don't know what I would name a new color family, but here are the colors that I came up with and a short description of what I would like them to be (in a perfect world)...
Really Ripe Raspberry (Pink Passion meets Rose Red at full speed)
Granny Smith Green (just like the apple)
Breath of Blue (a 'barely there' blue or baby boy blue)
Watermelon Punch (speaks for itself)
Plainly Peach
Charming Charcoal
Pinkest Chocolates (mix Pretty In Pink and Close to Cocoa)
Cheery Black Cherry (a mix of Rose Red and Basic Black)
Antique Linen (a classic vanilla pad)
Baby's Breath (a classic white pad)
Picture Perfect Pine (pine green - something other than Forest Foliage or Garden Green - more of a Hunter Green color)
Simply Sherbet (a pastel orange)
What do you think??? Can we convince SU this is what we need???

you guys are mind readers!
** MILITARY SETS...one for each branch!
*Love the "new color category"... they don't even all have to fall into like a subtle, earth, regal or bold... just "different that we don't have yet to supplement the other 4 categories"...LOL
*More Christian phrases/Bible verses (these rock!)
*More boy/masculine...
*Computer fonts.. more variety
*School sets
*Professional sets
*One College set
*New Background stamps PULEASE!
*Definitely more words and phrases.... some whimsical ones on a "wanda" type of "tone"
*2 step stamps... love these.
Just my 2 cents!
Have a great day!

WOW! You all have so many great ideas -- Stampin' Up! are you listening??
I'd love to see:
Eyelets to match our 48 colors -- able to purchase colors individually.
A new color family -- we're really in need of some shades.
LOVE the idea of boxes of one color per package.
Craft spots.
Tag punches -- I have several from other companies and I LOVE them.
Jumbo cartridges in all the colors.
Large alphabet stamps -- maybe they could be magnetic.
More ribbon -- dots, gighams, stripes in all our colors
Twill tape -- it's out there in SO many colors -- we need it.
Buttons in all our colors -- able to purchase colors individually.
Oh my . . . I think we could go on for days! Can't wait for the new catalog!!
At Leadership someone talked to Brent and he hinted that the wheel pages would be coming back. They also hinted that we will get more colors of gingham ribbon and watercolor paper!
I want craft spots, 48 colors of journaling markers and more stamps that say Happy Anniversary instead of so many Best Wishes.
I do love those colors, but don't forget that a Classic pad in white or vanilla is pretty much impossible. The ink would soak into the paper, and would not be seen. For those to be visible on colored paper, they have to be pigment or chalk inks. Hmmm.... could they be done in a chalk pad?? That way they would show up on colors, and yet dry instantly!

I would love to see the wheel page brought back! It is so much easier to see what wheels there are when they are condensed on a few pages rather than thrown throughout the catalog!
ITA! I don't know why they did away with the one comprehensive list. It just adds a few more pages to the book, but makes it sooooo much easier for wheel lovers to see them.
The Craft Ink Spots have been on everyone's wish list for so long, and yet we haven't seen them yet. I just wanted to speculate on the reason--there MUST be one, because otherwise, they seem so logical! Is it because they would not stay inked well enough? (I've only got the craft white so far, so help me out if you are more experienced in this area than I am!) I've heard you need to keep them well inked, but perhaps a spot would not keep it's inkiness long enough to make them a worthwhile purchase? I want to know, because I WANT THEM, TOO! :?

So since the classic White and Vanilla aren't likely, how about:
Antique Linen as a tea-staining color
"Gonzo Grape" or "Going Grape" for a real royal purple?
I'd be buying that group in a heartbeat, I just want them to make a new family, not rearrange the colors and add new ones that way. (CTMH just did that, and it would make me nuts!)
I'd LOVE the eyelets in all 48 (esp the other 4 in the bolds and pastels..it just bugs me!) Love the script background wheel idea. How about a script background in English? Even if it was in handwriting that made it very hard to know what it said...not knowing what I'm saying in French bugs me, somehow. How about Tag sheets sold individually, or in packs of 2-4 of a SINGLE color. Or in color groups, so it's all blue tags or something. I'd LOVE craft spots, and it makes no sense to me why they wouldn't do it, because other companies can manage to put their pigment ink in pads that small. I'd love the designer papers in packs of 5 of a single design. More scrappin' kits, and maybe some kits designed to make cards? I'd love to have a kit of really fast cards handy (yeah, I know make one, but you get the idea). And I'd love it if the quick strips were seperately available.
I think that's it, though I'm sure I'll think of 10 more things in a minute!
Here are my other already mentioned suggestions:
A water soluable BLACK pad, you need that sometimes, too!
A waterproof gray pad (thanks for the suggestion to stamp off, though!)
A royal purple, deeper than Lovely Lilac, but not as dark as Eggplant Envy
I like all the other colors Chillin mentioned, especially peach, raspberry, pink chocolate, lighter blue, yellow green
48 colors of watercolor pencils!
48 colors of eyelets, available individully!
More ribbon colors, especially gingham!
More pigment journaler colors!
More scrapbook colors and designs!
More 12 X 12 designer papers, available individually!
Tag punches in more than one size! (I just bought these from Marvy!)
Soccer and Space sets
New Sympathy set, or a sympathy saying in an assortment!
More sentiments (I love Hero Arts, too!)
More backgrounds or more jumbo wheels for backgrounds
NOW, PLEASE SOME COMPUTER LITERATE PERSON, FORWARD THIS THREAD TO SU!
I would love to see more greetings that are appropriate for the insdide of the card, like Cheery Chat. That is the only negative thing my husband ever says about my cards, it is blank inside.
More gingham ribbon
A good purple color and a perrywinkle
A background stamp that looks like wood
Inspiration sheets for sale
more jumbo wheels
definately more colors of watercolor pencils
foil sheets
stazon cleaner
I wish they sold ribbon in color assortments
I wish you could buy just one stamp, for example, I liked the saying Cold Twigs Warm Hearts, but I didn't care for the snowmen in that set.
I AGREE WITH THIS ONE!!! Plus, I really liked it when you could go to one page to see all of the "wheels", besides on the pages they went with other stamp sets....
I'd love to see more simply scrapin' kits that are of a genral theme like the In Full Bloom Hostess set is. Also bew patterned albums. The only one I like is By Design and I already have it in all sizes.
What about stitched grossgrain?
Stamp set that are similar to the fun and funky style of Outline Stamps. I haven't seen anything we have that would work well with layering the way you can with those. Those of you that have seen these know what I'm talking about.
A xyron sticker machine!
A set that features cocktails like martini's and things that you could use to scrapbook a wine tasting party, or a girls night our, martini party, or vacation.
I don't think I'll be adding anything new here, but I'll speak my mind anyway.
Eyelets in all 48 colors, sold indivitually or not, I don't care.
More ribbon, especially gingham and let's add some polka-dot and stripes while we're at it.
I would like to be able to purchase the background paper that's sold in the scrapbooking kits without buying the whole kit. (or are we stampers supposed to make our own background paper ?)
Bring back (or make new) some Christian themed Christmas sets, I have relatives that you just don't make secular cards for!
I would like the assorted card stock to be bigger, 10 sheets of each color instead of 3.
More verse stamps for inside cards.
As for the word stamp sets (such as All-Year Cheer), I'd like to have a choice for which ones I could get because every one of these sets has a stamp that I would never, ever use and I don't like wasting space and money!
More punches and embellishments (other than eyelets, buttons & beads)
Larger quantities of Magic Mesh, 1 yard is not enough!!
And last, but definitely not least, Chalk pads in all 48 colors!!!!
I'd like to see a good soccer set!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soccer is sooooooo big - all 3 of my kids have played since kindergarten and my daughter continued to play in college!!! Do you think I have TONS of soccer pix to scrap!!!!!
I REFUSE to pay the price of "Good Sports" or "Sporting Goods" when I will use only one or two of the stamps!!
Okay, sorry, I'll calm down now!!
I agree!! We need a good soccer set!! You know who has one. I have it, but I haven't used it. I think I'm going to try to hold out to see what the new catty offers. I hope we will see a Soccer set. Soccer is a uni-sex sport. It would be a win win situation!!! Maybe a bald child in uniform. With a girl hair stamp and a boy hair stamp and then soccer shoes, ball, goal, water bottle,grass,etc..!!!
I agree with most of what has been posted but to emphasize a few -
brads and eyelets in all colors sold singly.
waterproof gray
more verses for inside cards
my choice of sayings
ribbon samplers - so you don't have to buy a whole roll to get a color you need for a special once off card - something like the way they sell the fibres.
versamark cartridges - regular and jumbo. It uses too much refill to ink up a blank cartridge.
Finally - do you think SU reads these postings or should we email them direct?
- polka dot ribbon
-a brown or tan gingham ribbon
-jumbo cartridges in more colors, I don't want to have to mess with empty cartridges and re-inkers
-more sets to be able to watercolor that are less formal than sea side sketches etc.
-craft spot pads
-a retro stamp set
-a stamp set that includes martini glasses, lime, wine glasses, etc, someone else explained it very well
-the wheel page to come back
-fancy fibers sold individually
-a better quick adhesive than mono
-military themed stamp set
I actually love the stampin up catalog and I look at it all the time but if I had a wish list this would be it

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but how about being able to purchase just the paper peircing tools( template and peircer) on their own? I really don't need another setter ,mat, or hammer, but would love the template and peircer!
I would love to see a set with tools in it that are not to child like. A nice pencil sketch of say a pair of pliers, a hammer, screwdriver, saw, even some nuts and bolts or nails that can be used for a background.
I would also like to see a "TO/FROM" stamp that says "TO/ LOVE FROM" and leaves enough room to write in more than one short name.
And some new verses for the inside of cards..... but ones that have a matching stamp for the outside. So like "Wishing you....." for the outside, and then "A wonderful birthday" or " A Merry Christmas" or " A magical new year" something like that would be nice. You get something for the front and the inside of the card that matches in style.

- polka dot ribbon
I agree.... polka dot ribbon would be so cute!!

And the drink glasses.... just imagine the fun that could be had with those!!
I love all the suggestions! Might I add more PET STAMPS. I am a dog/cat person and so are many of my customers. The sets we have now are not that great and I wouldn't mind seeing them replaced with something new.
I love all the suggestions! Might I add more PET STAMPS. I am a dog/cat person and so are many of my customers. The sets we have now are not that great and I wouldn't mind seeing them replaced with something new.
Pets are good too!! I have alot of them!! I love the old pet sets. Bow Wow & Meow Meow. They were so cute!! The new ones just don't do anything for me :(
Glossy Black Cardstock.
And I agree with Kendra, something to replace Fruit Medley. I had to make 125 favors for church yesterday and I used that set along with Citrus & Such. I miss these sets!!
PEACHY PEACH INK COLOR... CAMEO CORAL IS UGLIER THAN IT USED TO BE.. WE NEED A SOFT PEACH COLOR! I HAVE WANTED THIS FOR 5 YEARS AT LEAST!
I am loving the new boy/male stuff coming in the mini cattys... the snowboard, bike, skateboard.. etc... now how about "dirt bikes & quads"... that is what I hope for!
chalk ink is cool but the refills are sooooo expensive. sets if spots and individiual refills would be nice...
TECHNIQUES BOOK!
FUN FOLDS BOOK!
PATTERN & LAYOUT BOOK
I like the idea of a new color group.. a couple colors that I would like to see...
~a softer turquoise color more "aqua-ish" ya know?
~a better soft lime green... gable green is too minty (at least the last pack i got was that way) like old olive but lighter is what I am thinking.
i also love the idea of everyday flexible phrases in smaller more affordable sets...
I think they should take all the "basic" or netural colors and create a Netural Color Family - the colors like Basic Black & Brown, White, Vanilla, Creamy Caramel ... and all the other colors that you would consider Neutral .. Then they should fill in the existing color families with new colors!!
It DRIVES me crazy that you get black in the Earth Elements assortments... so many of my customers buy Black ink first before anything else .. then later when they are trying to buy color family groups of ink they are fustrated cuz they don't want to buy the black again.. so they would be a nice solution to that problem!!
