Hey, are there any girl scout, boy scout stamps out there? Also, what about crayon alphabets? New, improved or just gone?

Default thank you thank you thank you

Thank you to all the great demos taking the time to reply to questions and post information about the new catty. Having this info makes the disappointment of having to wait a little easier to handle. My catty's haven't even shipped yet....

Just to make it clear:

There will be no designer albums of any size or any style.

There will only be Black Leather Albums in all sizes. Post bound only.

They will have red, Mellow Moss, navy, and natural Linen albums in all sizes Post bound and Ring bound.

I am really bummed about this and want to make sure you all know so if you want to order, call your demo ASAP. And they are already sold out of the burgendy 8 1/2 by 11. So they are going fast.

Default Simply Scrappin'

Thanks to all who are posting the GREAT info... I'm desperately awaiting my cattys... I live in Guam and don't think I'll see them in awhile...
Anyway, I heard that the Simply Scrappin' kits, including Travel Time are GONE... Is it true? Have they been replaced with new designs? Also, the lunch sacks... Are they really gone too? I have a paper bag scrapbook class and the travel time was the next one.... Now what am I going to do? I look forward to hearing more info....

Default I just wanna say...

I have no questions, no requests or the like. I just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who is being so kind as to share information. It's hard to believe that a month from now we'll have devoured our catalogs, dog-eared them and probably placed at least one order.

THANKS AGAIN ! !

Yep. $6.95 for classic pads, $6.50 for coloured card stock. Prices look to be the same as last year.

Still no tag punches :(

There are about 14 new Christmas sets, plus several from the holiday mini. The new sets include Christmas postage stamps, two different caroller sets, a 2 step set called Ornament Elements, quite a few Christian sets, a Santa riding a motorbike, and some cutsie Christmas sets. Hope that helps.

There is a gorgeous new Asian set called Ancient Asia (p 162). I don't normally do Asian-inspired art, but this set is very tempting. There are 6 stamps. My favourite is a two-dimensional horse, looks like it's from an old linen painting. There is also a beautiful statue (not Budda), very fluid-looking and feminine. There's also a tiny 2D dragon that I'm smitten with.

No new Asian backgrounds, but Bamboo II is still in.

Speaking of background stamps, there is one called Weathered that I swear looks exactly like Antique Crackling.

Ok, I have read through 4 pages of bits and pieces of discontinued items, now is there a whole list of accessories (like you said you saw) -?

THANKS AGAIN gals! Not to drive you crazy but did they really really leave out paisley BG? I know, I know, no one has mentioned it so it must be really gone. A gal can hope can't she. I think it was a mistake leaving that one behind. Luckily, I did order it but now there will be no new samples to inspire ... Grrrr.

It's on the retired list - so I imagine that it's not going to be in... but I don't have my new catties yet. This is the first time in the 9 years since I moved to the US from Canada that I'm truly sorry to not live there anymore (lol)!!

Someone with a catty can probably confirm that paisly BG is out...

Is it Quan Yin? Female wearing a sort of pointy hat or with a pointy-ish lotus leaf behind her? I can't wait! I love the Asian stamps!

Default Simply Scrappin'

Just read this entire thread and didn't see anything about the In Full Bloom Simply Scrappin' kit. is it still available? I know we have a new simply scrappin' as a hostess set and I'm excited to see it too. What's the overall impression of the Island Blossoms SS kit??

It might be. I'm not sure what makes something a Quan Yin. Looking at my art history text book, it might also be Guanyin (is that the same thing? I know nothing about Asian art). This set is very lovely and oh so tempting, though I don't know if I'd ever use it.

I saw the wheel list. It didn't have Farmyard listed which surprised me since On the Farm stamp set was retiring. I was only going to get one jumbo wheel tomorrow. I had planned on getting Farmyard until I saw Busy Blocks was on the retiring list. Can I wait and get Farmyard in the new catty or do I need to order it now? Thanks for any help.

Anything from this summer mini wont be available in this catty - the cut-off is the spring mini. But, next years catty, it might make it.

The In Full Bloom scrappin kit is IN as a regular purchase. I don't have a catty yet - so can't answer the rest.

Hi!
Just got my SU catty today, I'm in Montana, they mailed from Utah. If that helps the rest of you that haven't gotten yours yet.

Sweet. But we only get to choose from linen and black leather albums?

Yep:( It's really gone!!

DD sets are as follows:
Island Blossoms (Hostess) - this is super cute!!!
Bloomin Wonderful
Daisy
Roses in Winter
Build a Blossom
Gladsome Garden
Crayon Kids
Gorgeuos Grape (this one is really nice too!) - it's got a vintage feel to it
Fresh Fruits (from the mini)
Pines
Bold Butterfly
Going Buggy (this one is really cute for a boy's room) (kinda like bug builders, but bigger)
Toile Blossoms

This is all I could find as I scanned the catalogue - maybe there are more I missed! So, not too many new ones, but they are nice.

The Island Blossoms SS kit is REALLY nice, but its pretty girly. The main colours are certainly celery, pixie pink, tempting turquiose, white, apricot appeal - so very tropical of course. It also incorporates little accent from the Little Pieces set that is new to this catalogue. Some stripes, some flowers (of course). The sample scrapbook page is super cute and I'm sure will be cased with this kit by many

HTH!

Yep, farmyard is in the new catty.
