Default new demo- signing special - which set do you recommend?

I am filling out my paperwork I can't decide which set to get! I am leaning toward Tall Tales. Any other suggestions?

We had the special of a free stamp set of your choice in Canada in October. Is that the one you are talking about? I signed up when there was that deal and I got the Every day Flexible Phrases. Most expensive set, besides some of the alphabet that were the same price. I love the set and would never buy it because of hwo expensive it is. I was hoping to get some customers loving the set so they buy it!

I would get Everyday Flexible Phrases....it's high priced and very versatile.

I agree with the above posters. I use Everyday Flexible Phrases all the time....especially since I scrapbook A LOT!!!! I, too, got this set for free as a new recruit bonus when I signed up last January.

If you want to be an active demonstrator, I would not get Tall Tales since it will not be available after November. It may or may not be offered in the next new catalog in July. I agree, the flexible phrase sets are a good choice or one of the large alpha sets in the main catalog.

What is the "new demo special?" I am a new demo and am not aware of any free sets other than for sales or recruiting.

Don't worry, you're not out of the loop -- the special mentioned in the OP is a recruiting special. I guess the title of this thread is somewhat misleading. ;)

I'm so sorry. But after reading it again, it was a lil confusing.

I would also go with Everyday Phrases or if you were looking for an alpha set it would be Letterpress for me. Actually, those are the sets I am going to get since I qualify for the sales portion of the Stampin' Start Program!
