Michaels was just putting out a display of some new EK Success Paper Shapers punches. They lock down so as to save space. There are single image and border punches. They also have designed storage units for the new single punches. Cost of the single punches around $10 and the border punches around $15. The storage units were about $6.
I have attached photos of the border punch I purchased. It is called Swiss Cheese. The punch is easy to use and I do like the feature of locking it so it will not take up as much space.
Where in your Michaels did you see these new punches? I was in mine yesterday and didn't see them and can't imagine where they would put them. But, who knows! My Michaels is always late at putting out product.
I got three today at my Michaels. I had to play with them on my break at work and I have to say that I'm lovin' 'em!! They cut so clean and they are smaller, so they fit better in your hands. I'm off to search out a Michael's coupon as I can see myself going back to Michaels tomorrow!! I work 2 minutes from Michaels, AC Moore and JoAnn's - very dangerous, indeed!!

I sure hope my local Michael's will have them. They always seem to be one of the last to get stuff. I would really like that border punch. Thank you so much for posting. It's nice to see how it actually looks like.

I have one of the border punches and they are wonderful! I have wavy dots and it will punch through SU and TAC paper like nothing else I have...The selections is the best and the single punches are great too.
Love the fact they lock closed and can stand on end and stack up great in a drawer...

I just got the mini scallop border with dots punched out. I tried it out last night and it works wonderful!! I love how they lock closed! Such a great idea for storage purposes!! I will have to go back for more!!

Mine, too. Or they get like two and are gone FAST!
Has anybody else gotten this one?? I bought it the other night and the zig zag punches great, but the embossed stitching - not so much. It's very faint and hardly visible. I'm wondering if I got a bad one or if this is how it is. I've bought 6 of these in the past three days and have been using them non stop. I like that they are not fancy and "lacey" like the Fiskers ones.

Well, I have a couple of the fiskars embossing corner punches, and tried holding it down when I punch - for a few extra seconds, and it seems to show the embossing better.
I just purchased the teeny tiny dot EK border punch, and love it, but it is VERY hard to line up - the dots are so hard to see through the punched out dots when u slide the paper down.

and they didn't have them. in fact i am disappointed in what they have. Fiskars ends were empty and several others. This is the way it looked when it opened and in a month it hasn't improved
While on vacation in Florida I came across these. I only had one coupon so I bought the skull and cross bones and it works beautifully, unlike the MS one. Now I want more.

I got this punch last week and i love it...polkadots seem to be my new favorite thing! I am in the process of paiting my ATG gun and it will have polkadots for sure!!!
Does anyone have a picture of these "designed storage units for the new single punches"? I am in desperate need of a storage solution for my MANY punches. LM :-)

I'm taking mine back today, it's not totally flat on the edge where your paper is supposed to sit, the metal in the punch sticks up to high and I can't get a straight punch.

Lightly spritz your paper with water before you punch and the embossing will show up better. That usually helps me with my embossing style punches.
I just picked up the 'binding edge' one and it works well, even on the PTI papers. I chose this one because I was leary of the super detailed ones, but given how well this one works, I might just go back for a few more. My store had them on sale, too!

Someone please find a coupon before I leave for a 4 hour drive to the closest city with a Michaels on Friday this week. and post it please.
Punches are all 30% off this week, so you can't use a coupon on them. However, I usually get the coupons in my e-mail; as soon as I get one, I'll post it here for you

I'm an hour away from Michaels but don't have an AC Moore or JoAnn's here in Canada. Oh you must have fun...I can see why you're working...lol!

I had this issue too and I found if you punch down twice....once for cutting the paper and holding still in same spot and punching down again the embossing comes out great. Hope that helps - I kept mine
