New poem for girlfiends paint can.
I just finnished this poem...thought i would share.
Girlfriends We Are
Long relaxing beach trips to the sea shore
Tireless shopping sprees in specialty stores
Quaint little restaurants that we go to and dine
Sharing our secrests over a fine glass of wine
Girlfriends we are
And sisters we choose to be
There is no closer definition of family
One by one the memories compile as we age
They really should be recorded on a scrapbook page
But with all of life's hassles and the shortage of time
There has not been a book created for this idea of mine
So here is a memory can that I have created for you
Take some time to put in a photo or two
Jot down the name, the place and the time
A little note while it is fresh on your mind
Maybe a special card or a movie ticket stub
Don't forget the Spa and all those back rubs
Hey what about a shell or a restaurant reciept?
What about a chocolate from a nice hotel suite?
Come on now and let your mementos begin
What will you put in your memory tin?
Be very creative, but think very small
Or your can will be full, in no time at all
