Default New with question about folded cards

I'm new to stamping and have a couple questions about folded cards.

1) If you're using multiple paper products on the front, do you fold it over to the inside or just trim it to hit the borders of the card?

2) Do you do any embellishments or layering in the inside of the card? Stamp it? Anything to help the appearance?

Thanks!
Nikki

I trim the borders, I don't wrap it around. If I'm using a dark color of CS, I put a layer of white/vanilla/cream inside so the writing will be visible. Sometimes I stamp things on the inside, sometimes I don't. It generally depends on whether I have much to say or if I want a saying stamped so I just have to put a quick bit of text on it. also depends on the design.

I would love to help you but don't quite understand your first question...

I usually only put something on the inside if I have a saying that goes with whatever saying is on the front or if the front has no saying at all then I will put it on the inside, usually layered, just cause I can't help myself layering.

I always trim, also. And I always decorate the inside with at least some verbage and a small stamp - sometimes more. I always stamp the envelope to match the card, also. Oh - I always do a little stamp on the back of the card - along with my name....maybe I go a little overboard, but it is fun!
