Has anyone seen (or used) the new gold and silver Sharpies? I saw them in my grocery store this weekend. And...tonight I bought a set of Sharpies with 5 new colors (at least to me) - Marigold, Burgundy, Plum, Olive and Navy. The lids look pretty. Now I need to go play with them!
OMG I HAVE to find those colors!!! Sounds like they would go with Old Olive, Navy, Mustard, Eggplant envy and "Broke" Burgundy!! Oh the tiles would be beautiful with those!!!

I found
I found the 5 pack of the "earthy" sharpies at wal mart for 3.50 or so and I bought the silver sharpie at staples for .99. I haven't seen gold, but could use one. Do you think these are like the zig painty?
My daughter sent me the earth tones and they are stunning! She also sent me the silver pens (they come in a pack of 2). But I am now on a search for the Gold and I still haven't found the pastels. I know, I know... Wal-Mart... but there is no Wal-Mart within about 25 miles of me and I don't drive. So I'm still hoping...

If you can't find the pastels, I can buy them and mail them to you. I find them at staples, and wal mart and both are close. Let me know if I can help you!
Okay, I know I have seen you guys talk about sharpies before and I have quite the collection for other uses, but what are you using them for when it comes to stamping?
One of these days I will be an expert like all of you and I will answer these questions for some other newbie.
I LOVE Sharpies, but they have been giving me a real headache recently. I have all but the Tangerine and Magenta ones. At Michaels and JoAnn, Etc. they have the large Sharpie display with most of the colors, but NOT the two I don't have yet!
I posted about this on Pam's older thread (the one you were trying to figure out all the colors) and someone, I can't remember who, said to try Staples because they had them all loose, too. They only had the newest ones, the pastels, loose though. Anyone know where I could find these? Or, if your Michaels or other craft store carries them, would you be willing to pick them up and send them to me? I'd happily pay for them! I feel so "incomplete" without the last two colors! lol

I've used the gold and silver since I "won" them at a race in May. Sharpie has a car in NASCAR and was giving them as prizes if you could match all the colors with their image on a big round circle. I won! And by the end of the weekend, my time had held up. I put them in their little spaces faster than anyone all weekend. I knew then, I was too obsessed with Sharpies.
Office Depot was selling those individually a while back - gosh maybe over 6 months ago.
At walmart they had some colors sold individually at the register for $.89. Seems like there were 4 or 5 colors.
Is there somewhere on this forum where someone listed all the colors of the markers? I think I remember seeing it somewhere but I can't remember where. I would love to have the list so I can figure out which ones I'm missing. Thanks, Carol
I think if you start at the third page, the colors are listed there! I cut and pasted that list into a document which I keep in the stamp case all my Sharpies are in.

Well, I just saw them and bought them because all the ladies on SCS says they're cool - I opened the package today (bought it more than a month ago) to 'look' at them, but I haven't used a one yet! :P
Just found a set of 17 Sharpies on the Office Depot site for $12.98
Aqua; Berry; Black; Blue; Brown; Burgundy; Green; Lime; Marigold; Navy; Olive; Orange; Plum; Purple; Red; Turquoise; Yellow
Why is it that the Sharpie website is missing so many colors? There are no pastels listed on the site (although I just bought my 24 pack at Office Depot), and no magenta or tangerine? (I'm ASSUMING those are the other colors I hvae in my pack!)
I have the new pastels and the new earthtones as well as silver. Haven't found the gold or copper yet but will have to buy them as soon as I see them!!
I just bought a package of Sharpies from K-mart with a total of 8 for $6.29. It has the 5 new colors in it along with a pink, light blue & turquoise color.
Can't wait to start playing!
Beth
OK gals, now what do I do? I think I have all the colors except for Berry, turquoise, and I think Lime. How do I just get the ones I'm missing without buying a whole set? I was just at Staples and saw that those are three colors I am missing. Carol
on the sharpie web site the have a new COPPER marker--shut up!!!!!!!! I HAVE to have one!!!!
Get out!!! I have a copper obsession lately! Must have...must buy...buy...buy....... Are we obsessed, or what? But, it's a wholesome hobby! We could do a lot worse.
Carol - I know that Michael's has a big display in their Calligraphy section of all the sharpies. I have definitely seen all three of those colors there. The newest ones aren't there yet (pastels), or the two that I'm missing, though. They are about a dollar each! Hope you get them all!
