I received my 2023/2024 SU annual catalog last week and am so thrilled with the new stamps and colors! My last ink purchase included some of the colors that are coming back, or coordinate well with the new colors. I realize I’m not a fan of the muted colors, like the new In Colors, but I love happy ones like Lemon Lolly, Berry Burst and Bubble Bath. I have my eye on a couple sentiment sets, and the baby greeting set with the realistic animals melted my heart. I’m going to start with the new cardstock assortment that includes all the new colors and see which become my favorites, and hope my demo does a paper share of the dsp. My first purchase from SU in 1999 included a cardstock assortment of the Subtles. I still miss Barely Banana! Has anyone else started a wish list?! 😀
I have to agree that the newer In Colors seem more muted or "grayed out". They are side by side with the 2022-24 colors in the catalog and you could say it's the darks and the lights for a few of the colors. I do like the Copper Clay and think it appeals more to me than the new Pecan Pie. It's darker and richer and I think they'd be almost interchangable. Won't know for sure until we see them in person or maybe used by people and posted. Everyone I know who's gotten their new catty's has Lemon Lolly on their list........it's on mine too. Looks to be a nice true yellow. I keep colors that I really like even if they retire, so I am all set in several of the returning colors.
I've never bought a suite of products before but the Earthen Elegance has my name on it. Started saving for it and hopefully when I get there it's still available and not back ordered.

Oh, Earthen Elegance is really pretty and perfect for those earthy colors! I hope it isn’t backordered so you can get it soon. I also have to save for purchases, so I know what you mean.
I keep all my colors, too (I guess I have even the ones I don’t like)! I’m not a demo so I just use what I like, and can usually sub in an old stamp set that is similar to a new one, especially with flowers and butterflies. I finally figured out that I like nesting or layering dies more than those that cut out stamped images. I love the dies in the Darling Details and Gone Fishing bundles, but don’t really need the stamps, and the bundle price is out of reach for me. I will look again during the next SAB!
My wish list is all new colors stuff - cardstock, Blends, markers, embellishments, etc. I just LOVE all the new colors!!!
I don't buy stamps too much anymore so even though there are a lot of great sets in this catalog, they won't make it on my shelves. I was impressed at the variety, though! Fewer flowers and more masculine and non-flower images. SU! did a fantastic job with that.

I agree! There is such a nice variety of stamps in this new catalog, images so unlike those we’ve seen before. I’m so glad to see some really unique realistic images. If I add a stamp set, it will most likely be one of those. I could make cards every day for years and not run out of supplies, but will pick up the new colors in the main collection. They’re irresistible!
The new In Colors are the ones I like to use in decorating our home. My favorite feeling is to be cozy and that's why I love these shades so much. In about 2-3 years I'll have a spare bedroom to make in to my craft room and these are exactly the colors I would use to paint and decorate it.
I got my catalog yesterday. As far as stamps go, nothing really grabbed my attention. I do like a returning Easter set, and bunny punch, so I may get that at some point. I am mainly excited about some of the new/returning colors (azure after noon, berry burst, fresh fresia). I definitely want to get some of the card stock and DSP, as well as the new colors of markers. I was sad to see So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz go, so I just ordered a couple of packages of each. One set that was retired was no longer available (Nothing Better Than) which made me sad, but I did order Love Cats, which made me happy.
It will be nearly a month before I get my hands on the new catalog. I can hardly wait for the online version. For those who have your catties, are there very many stamp sets in rubber? It seems the majority of the pre-order items shown in videos I’ve seen are photopolymer.
