Does anyone know if the new SU colors will affect the Petal Point Chalk Pads that are offered by SU? Should I wait until the new catty to order the Chalk pads?

A: All accessories that carry over from the 2004�2005 Idea Book & Catalog will be reconfigured with new colors when needed. The new catalog won�t offer any product in the discontinued colors.

OOOHHH I get my new colors tomorrow! Maybe I'll scan in the original (retiring) color laying next to the new color....than you can see the difference!!! Unless this violates SU! copyright...but I don't know how it would.
You're not alone. I think several of the colors look the same in that first article that came out about the color changes. (The re-done Positively Pink and Rose Romance come to mind.) But I think they'll look different "in person." It's pretty hard (ie., impossible) to print perfect color swatches in a magazine.
Is it just me, or do the new colors look exactly like the ones they are replacing, but they just have different names?
Okay. Thanks for saying that! I thought I needed my eyes checked. Apart from the new colors (So Saffron, etc.), many of the replacements look so similar, I wonder at the need for change -- Bashful Blue looks a lot like Bliss Blue, Regal Rose looks Romantic! Maybe we have to hold them up to eachother to appreciate and recognize the difference?

I've seen some of the colors in use and although they are similar they are enough different to make them look fresh! SU is just trying to keep up with industry standard. The new colors coming out are the new colors we see going up in people's homes. They really are different. I've held off buying my last two reinker sets until fall because of this.
