I'm making a basket to sell at a open house that will include: plate, bowl, coasters, magnets, candle and dish towels.
The coasters I made are from a company called makit. Much better than home depot, but more expensive.
I'm not finished with the basket but would like some imput.
Julie if it is an open house where you are promoting your business I believe you are not allowed to sell as well.... look into it to be sure.
But as for the basket...I LOVE IT! I love blue...it is sooo restful!
THanks for the info!
I saw their catalog a while back and have been contemplating it... I think I'll go ahead and order from them...
You did beautiful work, by the way!!
Everything looks great. As for sugeestion, I would say stick with your blue and white theme and add some shredded paper or other filler, hot chocolate packs, tea bags or sample size bags of coffee. I think Starbucks has a multipack of little bags. Maybe some scone mix or some cookies - something to nibble on. Some candies. I'm getting hungry and I can smell something cooking downstairs so I think I'd better go check in with my family. But first...
I have a question - do they actually somehow put the paper you stamped on to the plate, etc.? I ask because I'm wondering if however they process the items is in conflict with SU!'s policy again mechnically or electronically reproducing their copyrighted images.
It's not really reproducing. They take your artwork and sort of "meld" it into the plate. One of a kind. They do not copy it, they use your artwork. My mom's a teacher and they use this company all the time for the kids' artwork.
